    This is w onderful hidden gem just 15 min walk from the Venetian Harbor in Old town. The staff bends over backwards for their guests even allowing us to store our bags for the day and offering us a shower before our evening flight out (all AFTER we'd checked out!). Wonderful breakfast included, this was a very pleasant surprise!

    We arrived at the hotel at 4 a.m. and were greeted by a smiling and welcoming host, despite the late hour. And that’s exactly what characterizes Hotel Klinakos – friendly and accommodating staff, always ready to help or have a chat.The hotel has a unique location, as it is right by the water, yet still offers peace and quiet. If you're looking for more activity, it's just a 10-minute walk down the beach to reach various hotels and restaurants.Breakfast at Klinakos is truly delicious and fresh. There’s a great selection of homemade traditional dishes, as well as salads, fresh fruit, and cakes.This was our first stay at Hotel Klinakos, but probably not our last. Our warmest recommendations.

    The comfortable, quiet rooms with good showers were just what I needed after a day of sightseeing and beaches. The staff was immensely helpful with booking excursions - they even packing a lunch for us! It's close enough to walk into the old part of Chania, yet far enough that it felt like a private beach area just for us.

    Wonderful, family-owned beach-side hotel

    After spending too many days in the rain in France, we hopped a flight to Crete with no pre-planning. My husband found this hotel online. We ended up staying for at least five days in two different rooms. This is not a fancy hotel, but it is perfect in many ways. Very friendly and helpful family run hotel. Comfortable beds. Great ocean views. Amazing breakfast. Easy walk to the beach. We are already thinking about a return trip next fall and look forward to staying at Klinakis Beach Hotel.
