Location

The complex is located in the heart of Chania, which grew out of the ancient town of Kydonia, well known for its glamorous charm, and the colours and scents that evoke a bygone era. The hotel is in one of the most popular districts in town. There are various shopping options opposite the complex, and guests can easily reach the old town and the Venetian harbour by foot.

Facility

The hotel has 2 lifts and features 114 rooms and 8 suites. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     Lovely hotel within walking distance of the gorgeous town and Harbour. Opposite the newly renovated Market building which should open summer 2026. Hotel is spotless. Staff so friendly and helpful, everyone from the cleaners, waiting staff and reception, they can’t do enough for you. Breakfast buffet is superb with a huge choice of hot, cold and pastries. We only ate from the snack menu in the evening in the bar but again superb. Our room on the 3rd floor was great with lovely shower and always hot water. Towels changed daily. We were at the front of the hotel overlooking a busy junction, my friend wore earplugs at night but I didn’t need too. Will def stay here the next time we visit this lovely city,

    Kiki’s an excellent Front Desk receptionist, she helped get us a new room after the door lock would not work and also provided a heater bec the room was too cold for us.

    A very comfortable room, well equipped with complete attention to every detail. The breakfast - superb. Over and above the actual premises every member of staff we met from the minute we drove into the car park were friendly, charming, courteous and professional. A most enjoyable stay.

    Located at the city center benefits of the open space of the market square. The rooms have good size (for European standards) with comfortable beds and lots of clean pillows. Complimentary water bottle in the fridge every day is a nice gesture. Very good breakfast although in summertime I think has more variety. As always the staff is extremely friendly in a sincere way that makes you feel really welcome. The open parking in the hotel´s backyard is small but the staff manages to pack in all the cars. Do not try to park the car yourself. Leave it to the staff, they know what to do. I enjoyed much staying in Kydon hotel.
