Location

The hotel is located 3 km west of the town of Chania and its bus station, Venetian harbour, market hall and nightlife options. Guests will find shops, restaurants, bars, the nearest beach and links to the public transport network all 2 minutes' walk away in the centre of Chrissi Akti, which is around 2 km from the villages of Galatas and Daratsos. Rethymno is approximately 60 km from the hotel, Samaria Gorge and Falasarna Beach are around 45 min by car, and Elafonisi beach is approximately an hour and a half's drive. Chania - Souda Airport is roughly 20 km from the hotel.

    Love this hotel, it's simple and beautiful. The owner is the nicest man you could meet. The pool area is perfect to spend the day lounging around, with a shallow area for kids. Our rooms are nice and cool, hardly need air-conditioning on at all.There's a great restaurant really near by called Sterna and several bars that do food/drinks on the beach. The beach is amazing, there's great snorkeling. Surf some days and lots of sun beds for hire.Chania is close by on the bus, loads of great shops and restaurants. We love it and we will be back for sure

    This "hotel" personal consisted of only one old man who tried to serve as a breakfast cook and a receptionist with poor results in both. Outside cleaner visited the place by day. More alleycats than customers. Rooms ok. Resturant and bar closed, no reception if the host wasn't at the premises. We were only customers at the breakfast which was prepared late and often incompete as the old host forgot the only cheese slice and so on. Surroundings messy. Intenet pictures of this "hotel" colored. Pool ok, but the filtersystem often closed. Avoid.

    Absolutely lovely quaint hotel, the staff were all very nice friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The beds were surprisingly comfy and got a good quality nights sleep each night. Room was cleaned daily. The pool was very well maintained. The hotel location is great as-well only 3 minutes from the beach and and either a 45 minute walk from Chania harbour or a €10 taxi. Overall would very much recommend was a perfect place for a quite week get away.

    Cozy hotel near the beach

    Very nice and cozy hotel with very friendly owners, Iosef, was very helpful and we had a great time. Nice vegetation with palms and grass and a nice swimming pool. Short walk to the beach , I recommend staying at the left side on the beach near the stones/rocks - better water quality there. The water gets less clear the closer you get to Chania city.There was also a newly opened beach club with «sofas» instead of sunbeds, very nice spot but that’s where the water is not 100% perfect . So sit there but walk 3 min to the left to swim :) The hotel also has very cozy cats. If you want to pet them some of them likes it , the others just goes away so they are not intrusive or anything like that.

    If you search for a quiet and peaceful hotel this is a place to go. The owner is very nice. He will give you the best advice for you to enjoy your sejourn. Also a nice beach is at only 150 meters from this hotel. You can easily get to Chania by car or by bus.
