    WORST HOTEL IN MY LIFE!

    rating27 Oct 2025

WORST HOTEL IN MY LIFE!!!We booked a 5 nights all inclusive deal! We thought this is a good price. When we checked in we realised was a mistake! The hotel check in staff was clueless, can’t get 2 keys for your room. The food was a disgrace. Barely eateable. Everything was super fried and oily. The restaurant looked like 1950’s movies. The room was like prison, bathtube it looked like for children and the shower was on the wrong side of the bathtube. Every shower we took was like flooding. Mold in the shower, no blanket to cover yourself at night as it was getting colder. Asked for an espresso, they said this is not included in the “all inclusive” charged me 4 euros for it. Everything is so old, I don’t think they ever renovated this property since opening. I asked housekeeping to hoover the room but they said they don’t have a hoover. Only a brush 😂😂We are in 2025😂I just can’t explain in words how bad this hotel is.

Rude woman behind reception and worst room imaginable!

    rating29 Sept 2025

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.We were put in a room on ground floor that had absolutely no privacy as when you opened the curtains it led straight out to the pool area and there would be people chatting outside the room all night so was almost impossible to sleep. We asked to change room but the rude receptionist was no help and she just got very angry at us. Luckily a nicer receptionist was on duty the next day and she got us another room which thankfully had abit of privacy.Rethymnon is a beautiful place, just do not stay at this hotel and avoid the rude receptionist woman at all costs! Come to Rethymnon but do not come to this hotel if can help it.

    Awful experience

    rating10 Aug 2025

This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Everything felt neglected and outdated, and cleanliness was clearly not a priority. The showers were so cramped you could barely move, and every time you tried to use them, water flooded the floor — making the whole bathroom a soggy mess. The food was another disaster. Nothing had any flavor, and we ended up surviving on self-made Greek salads, fruits, and occasionally some sweets — simply because they were the only things remotely edible. To make matters worse, the plates in the dining area were often wet and covered in soap residue. Picking one that was even halfway clean felt like a challenge in itself. The whole stay left me feeling disgusted and cheated.

    Stay somewhere else!

    rating15 Jul 2025

We have just returned from a week All Inclusive in Lefkoniko Beach. I booked it as it was on the cheaper side for Crete, so didn’t expect too much. But it was awful. We aren’t people who constantly complain, but this was the worst hotel we’ve stayed in. Everything was very dated, like it was stuck in a 60’s time warp. The room was a good size, but the bathroom was small with a tiny shower. If you bent over in the shower to get the shower gel the tap would go somewhere you didn’t want it to go. There was only just enough room to fit in the shower and we are not big. The shower curtain was useless and the bathroom floor was flooded afterwards while it drained away. The water was luke warm at best, one day it was freezing cold. The food was dreadful. One day the rice wasn’t even cooked properly. It wasn’t just us that must have thought it as lots of other people had left all the rice on their plate. The plates and cutlery etc weren’t properly clean. Very often had to swap for a different one that was clean. No snacks between meals apart from a sandwich toaster on the bar so you could ask for a toasted sandwich or burger. Never any different option. We had an early excursion booked for Wednesday, so asked reception if we could have breakfast earlier, just cereal and coffee. We were told yes and given a slip of paper with our time written on it. Went to the dining room to be met by a very grumpy woman and told breakfast isn’t open. Gave her the slip of paper and she came back with a plate of cucumber, tomato, bread, ham and cheese. And a slice of sponge cake. Said can we just have cereal (which was already out on the side) told no, what is wrong with what I have given you and put the chain across to stop us going in the dining room. We weren’t even allowed to eat it in the dining room. I don’t eat cucumber, can’t stand the stuff, and my husband is allergic to tomato. To be honest all the staff were pretty miserable. No air con inside the communal areas, in fact it was hotter in the building than it was outside. Thank god the air con worked in our room. I would avoid staying here at all costs, even though it is in an excellent location.

    Amazing coeliac friendly hotel

    rating23 May 2025

I have just returned from the most amazing week at this hotel. I went with my Aunt and we stayed in Lefkoniko Bay which is the building across the road but all owned by the same hotel. The location was perfect, just opposite the beach and a supermarket. Several lovely pools each getting the sun at different times of the day. While this isn’t a 5 star “posh” hotel, both the hotel and the rooms were spotless. The cleaning time were always around doing something whether that be washing walls, mopping floors or cleaning light switches. Our rooms were made daily with an abundance of fresh towels and toiletries. The laid back (yet attentive) atmosphere of the hotel allowed for a very relaxing experience. All staff were friendly and accommodating, I’d say we even made good friends with a few of them! One of the best parts of the stay was the food. I am coeliac so it is always a bit nerve wracking staying and eating away from home. I contacted the hotel prior to arriving of which they responded with confidence in their ability to cater for me. I introduced myself to the catering staff who were prepared for my arrival. I was provided with gluten free bread daily and shown at every meal what I could or couldn’t have on the buffet. If there was nothing suitable for my appetite they always offered to cook something separately eg. Chicken, pork steak or fish. I never went hungry and despite being very sensitive I was very much well all week (at least from food anyway, can’t say the same from Raki 😂).I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something relaxed, casual and friendly with good food and drink!
