  Just check other reviews like Sara's on google or on trip advisor. I should have read them. Better spend your money somewhere else. Don't let these people waste your holiday. For 5 euro's more your get much better accomodation elsewhere. Unfriendly staff, location in the middle of nowhere, beds are a nightmare, rooms old and small, insects.

  First off i have stayed in many places in malia and the surrounding area and this is up there with the best of them, from the moment we arrived nicos booked us in very quickly and efficiently showed us to our room and explained how to get the air conditioning to work (trust me we needed it during the heatwave), the air con was actually in the price of the room which is unusual in malia but a very welcome surprise as was the wifi which was available throughout the premises, the rooms though basic had everything you need for a pleasant stay and we're cleaned every other day so no complaints there, the food was very nice and a decent price and well presented, location wise it's in an excellent position just a five minutes walk to the centre (it is up a slight hill so may not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties) overall a very pleasant stay and i will definitely be rebooked here for future holidays in malia

  Beautiful hotel and friendly couple who run it

  We didn't stay in this hotel but we visited the bar daily. We didn't realise it was a hotel but the lovely lady who runs it showed us round and the views from the balconies are fantastic. Lovely rooms and you're are made to feel so welcome, we really loved visiting to eat, drink and play pool. Highly recommend and if we come back to Malia we will definitely stay here

  SERIOUSLY AVOID staying at this ZERO star hotel!

  AVOID AVOID AVOID! Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in to date! Stayed in an “upgraded studio” which is basically a box. I never write reviews but I want to warn people from this hell hole. The rooms are cold, you only get one thin sheet on the bed which isn’t enough for one person (the mattress had springs coming off and felt like a concrete floor with holes in, the mattresses probably haven’t ever been replaced!) The rooms are rarely cleaned.The bed consists of a mattress on a wooden board, expect back problems if you've never had any, the bottom sheet didn’t even fit so you’ll wake up on the dirty mattress and be itching! There are no privacy curtains so we ended up hanging our clothing on the door to try and keep some privacy/heat in which didn’t work, they never replace towels and room isn't cleaned daily, the water is cold and barely has any flow, the flimsy door is seriously poorly insulated so the door will be flapping all night with the breeze. One night there was a storm and the whole room was FLOODED, waking up to a swimming pool. Not once did the owners come and check to see if we were OK, nothing, the hallway was also flooded and no one came to clean or mop the area until really late into the afternoon, by that time we had to do it ourselves. Fancy being a cleaner on a holiday. We asked for a mop and the grumpy women gave a sweeping brush, she barely understood English and her partner was nosey and invasive but never helpful upon complaining or questioning anything, he is very intimidating if you try to question to place. There is no aircon included, they charge 6EUROS extra for this SCAM! What century do they live in???The toilet roll was NEVER topped up in the room, so we ended up buying our own (unless of course you manage to sign language to a cleaner to give you one) The cleaner just barges through into your room if you’re sleeping/showering, she doesn’t even ask to come in, so rude! The food is absolutely disgusting, DO NOT EAT THERE! There are much nicer places outside and better value. If you want to eat what can only be described as plastic from the 1950’s i.e a miserable piece of bread and jam then get ripped off at 6EUROS per person, when 5 minutes down the road you can actually get proper authentic, decent food. The couple who run the place, are unprofessional, unapproachable and the old man just sits smoking and drinking outside (basically like a Chav, they just argue all day), they ask you invasive questions when you walk by, and if you have any concerns they completely ignore you and act like they don’t know what’s going on. They’ve completely lied about the flood, saying it never happened, but my pictures and videos say otherwise. A war could have been happening and they would probably be sitting smoking away cooking their rubbery plastic flood you wouldn’t even feed a dog with!!! It’s not even worth 1 STAR! It’s a dead place, dead business and I honestly don’t know why it’s even running with such a disgraceful service. NEVER EVER STAY HERE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!! There is a proper hotel with PROPER service just across the road. And if you use SUPER ESCAPES to book a holiday totally AVOID THEM, they do not rectify any problems even if your DSLR camera gets damaged during a flood on holiday! This company added an extra charge for the breakfast when it wasn’t even that price there (for just bread and a drink) I hope I have saved someone out there from a potential HOLIDAY FROM HELL!

  Very odd. It was trouble to get a clean towel. No night desk. No extra toilet paper. The owners regularly hang out downstairs right by the exit of the rooms, smoking and being nosey. The guy seems very nice at first but once you’re all checked in he will be up in your business like he is your catholic father and you’re a terrible person. He asked us where we ate dinner and I stupidly told him as I didn’t think anything of it. He asked how much and I didn’t think it would be a big deal so I told him. He scolded me and told me that was too much and that tomorrow I would eat dinner there and he would cook it. Um, no thanks.So you get what you pay for I guess in this instance with a free helping of some older, scary dude being all up in your business. There were some other “interesting” things but I’ll try to put that all behind me now and hope this review saves you the discomfort of lodging there. Just pay a little more and stay elsewhere.(Stained towels and pubes on the toilet seat. Good times.)
