  Best place to stay in Hersonissos

  Had the most amazing memorable holiday here! Our first time visiting Greece and so so glad we picked here, it was one of our favourite places we have visited and what made it even better was Lofos Apartments! Staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be, we booked a standard apartment however we enquired about the suites they had with a private pool 2 nights into our stay as they looked beautiful and we were offered an upgrade at a reasonable price and we didn’t regret it, what a gorgeous place. We are looking forward to coming back sometime in the future.   Great place and really recommend

  Just returned from the Lofos apartments in Piskapiano and would thoroughly recommend. Was greeted by Monica although we didn't arrive until midnight, she carried our bags and was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and big. We had a ground floor with veranda. Although not needed was attended to by cleaners every other day. The only downfall was the wifi was not very good in our apartment but was fab by the pool and reception. The pool area was fab and extremely clean. Due to the time of year it was extremely quiet. The location was good with 3 small supermarkets within 10mins walk and large one 20mins down hill. The beach was downhill 20mins walk away and there was several different areas of beach some busier than others. Plenty of restaurants and shops near the beach area. The apartments are on a hill so the walk up to the small town was hard as was the walk back from the beach. Maria and George introduced themselves and were also very kind and helpful. We were the only one eating on our last night but they still kept the restaurant open. The food was delicious and freshly cooked.   We have just returned from Lofus apartments . It is truly the most amazing place . You are treat like family , greeted on arrival and waved off on departure. Food 10/10Apartment 10/10Staff 10/10 special thanks to Joanna who looked after us every day & Monica in the evenings Literally cannot fault anything , highly recommend.   Great family run apartments

  From our very first chat with the lovely Maria we knew we were going to love it here. We were made to feel really welcome by the owners and all the staff. They really do embody their motto “Arrive as a guest and leave as a friend“. Rooms are light and airy and our balcony was really large with a parasol for shade. We ate in the hotel restaurant twice and the food was very good. The swimming pool was well maintained and the area around was adequate for the number of guests. The vast majority are returners and are a mixture of British and Dutch. We spoke to some people who had been coming for ten years. The area is brilliant for restaurants. We didn’t have a bad meal all fortnight. Our favourites were Areston ( half way down the hill towards the coast) and Gevsi and Aposperida which are both up the hill in the village of Piskopiano. There are some lovely restaurants in the next village of Koutouloufari but these on average were about 25% more expensive. During the day we alternated between pool days, coastal walks, using the local bus and a TukTuk tour into the mountains which was highly entertaining. To conclude I would like to thoroughly recommend the hotel and the area but you would need to plan ahead. It books up very quickly indeed.   Perfect in every way from arrival to being waved goodbye.
