  Pleasant hotel

  I have been visiting this hotel for the last 3 years. This is a very nice and friendly place to spend your vacations. The staff is really taking care of their clients and make sure everything are clean. Furthermore, not only has it excellent food for all tastes but also know how to take care of you at aegeo spas with massage and a lot of treatments. I highly recommend it!

  lovely spot for a glass of wine watching the sun set, i agree with a previous review though re the spa, seem to be a bit pushy re booking more appointments and kept asking to review on trip, didn't like me turning up asking for an appointment for that day or the next day wanted a couple of days notice...... never mind...... still like a glass on the patio and seeing Athena from the pool bar

  Nice stay at this hotel, staff friendly and everything clean and well kept. Food good quality sometimes could have been a bit hotter but good selection. Pool area clean was easy at this time of year to find a sun lounger. Shops, bars and restaurants all nearby. No dauly entertainment and limited evening entertainment too. Stefanos tours nearby will sort you out for trips at a reasonable price. We were recommended the happy train tour around the area but it wasn’t interesting and the driver wasn’t happy after arguing with a group who tried to get onto the train before the driver was ready for them.

  Arrived very late as flights from UK arrive overnight. Given a nice plate of cold food from the buffet earlier but was surprised to find this was one of my 10 nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast! Although I assume my travel agent informed them I was disabled - Special Assistance at the airport - I was put in a room on the second floor up two flights of stairs with no lift. I was found a room on the first floor near a lift the next morning but not with the sea view I had booked and overlooking the kitchens so couldnt use the balcony due to the smell of food and a nice niew of the extractors and air conditioning units.Food ok but one 4 slot family toaster at breakfast for a full hotel!??? Plus cutlery, especially teaspoons and milk hard to access.On day of check-out (11 am) if you are a UK visitor your flight will be late night once again so no facilities at hotel to change into warmer clothes and the only toilet for the whole of the ground floor is pool side down two flights of stars. Expected to have my 10th night dinner but told I would have to pay for it. The pool bar closes at 5 so I got them to make me a sandwich for later.The Spa manager is a positive nuisance never leaving you alone until you have booked a session.Saving grace is the hotel is spotlessly clean and the stff are lovely.

  An amazing holiday

  We arrived late at the hotel (delayed) but we were warmly greeted and taken to our room ( the receptionist took our cases). We had room 209, a 2 bed, 2 showered room with an amazing view. We could see all across the bay and front pool and all across to Malia. Very clean, beautiful towels and linens, lovely bathroom accessories, shower gel etc. and a really comfortable bed. The maids did an excellent job. Limited TV stations but that didn't concern us, a fridge was very handy and we had no issues getting WiFi.The restaurant had lovely staff, very friendly, even if we saw them outside of the hotel, they'd say hi. Food was ok, not always hot unfortunately but we enjoyed the food they offered. Loved having coffee or tea served to the table at breakfast, a nice touch. Nikos at the bar was really friendly and by the second night he'd remembered how we liked our coffee and Baileys!The pool was really clean and well tended to, the pool bar served really fresh, tasty food, really enjoyable.Entertainment two evenings was a saxophone player and a pianist, both very good.The location of the hotel is amazing, we stood on the balcony one afternoon and watched a wedding ceremony nearby. I hardly listened to any music while we were there, which is unusual for me, I just listened to the birds and the waves, it was magical. The gardens, fauna and flora were stunning and very well tended to.The staff at this hotel make this hotel, they were all helpful and friendly, well done to all of you. (Some of the staff don't wear name badges which is a shame, I pointed it out to one of the waitresses and she told me her name but she also asked our names, which I thought was lovely).I'd particularly like to thank the staff and hotel for helping us to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, we had a fruit platter and a bottle of champagne delivered to our room. It was a really lovely touch and the whole holiday is one that I'll never forget, it was perfect.
