    We visited the hotel for a stay and had quite a pleasant experience. The rooms, although of old architecture, have been renovated and great emphasis has been placed on cleanliness.The location is quite good.The disadvantage we found is that we did not enjoy the breakfast at all, we actually avoided it and the reason was not the quality, but the large number of flies that went everywhere in the dishes and besides being unsightly, it also creates health risks. They could have a different system to cover the food so the flies don't go.In general, however, it is a good choice for accommodation in Matala.

    A lovely small hotel suitable for both families and people without children, quiet, clean and with super friendly staff. Eleni, the owner, looks after everybody and is keen on everybody is having a good and relaxing stay. The breakfast is great - different kinds of bread, home made marmelades and greek spreads, eggs, fresh juices…. We really enjoyed it!

    Absolutely recommended hotel. Quiet, not far from village. Clean rooms, nice breakfast always with home made stuff, not just that continental breakfast crap. Nice and clean polWe have been coming here for years and will come in the future as this little hotel offers everything we are looking for.

    We stayed here the last weekend at the end of the season. The manager was very helpful and allocated us a room leaving the key in the door, giving us the WiFi code. The hotel is small with a pool and parking. 900m from the beach front. The rooms were basic but spotlessly clean. Our bed was very hard and we only had one pillow each. Had it been a normal season and there were staff around I’m sure I could have asked for more. There was no shampoo in the bathroom and the shower sliding doors were very difficult to open a doc lose. Breakfast in the morning was typical cheese, meat, bread, fruit etc and given the prices we paid for the night it was all very reasonable.
