Location

Located in the traditional Cretan village of Piskopiano, the hotel is set on a hill with magnificent views to the sea. It is just a short distance from the town Hersonissos with its bars, clubs, restaurants, water parks and sandy beaches. Heraklion International Airport is approximately 22 km away.

Facility

35 apartments and 25 studios are available to guests in a 2-storey main building and 10 auxiliary buildings. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Rooms

The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-accessible rooms can also be booked. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

On hot days, guests can go for a refreshing dip in one of the 2 outdoor pools. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. There is a poolside snack bar as well. A wide range of sports and activities are offered at the hotel, such as fishing. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball, crazy golf, golf and horse riding. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as catamaraning and snorkelling. Entertainment options and leisure facilities include an entertainment programme and a nightclub.

Very nice and quiet hotel, in walking distance from several cosy towns.

We had a perfect holiday in this hotel. When we are we were greeted by the receptionist before we even had parked our car. She was so friendly and helpful from the get go, and all throughout our holiday, as were the rest of the staff. If we had a question or a problem, they were always available to help. The breakfast was really varied, the eggs were a little cold sometimes though. We had a change of bedlinnen once and fresh towels 3 times in the week we stayed there. Our room was very comfortable, with a little kitchen and private pool, which was lovely. We stayed in room 601, the only thing that was a little annoying, was the noise from the filter installation that was located in a storage room right next to us. The beds were really good, and the pillows fluffy. The curtains kept out the sun and darkened the room really good, so we didn’t even need to use the AC. We really enjoyed our stay there. *Special request*We met some cute little cats there, our hearts broke when we had to leave them behind. If you stay there, could you give us an update on how they’re doing? And maybe give them some love ( and treats). We miss them…

This is a great location to stay in and the accommodation is lovely. We came in 2019, and this was our return visit (we were booked for 2020 as well but covid put paid to that trip). It’s clean and the staff clean it regularly throughout the stay, giving new towels and bedding. We have already booked to return. We can’t fault the team and the accommodation. It’s also a great location with lovely restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk. Being out of the main drag of hersonissos it’s also very quiet. The pool is clean and big enough to swim in. It’s a lovely well established complex, with well equipped flats that have been nicely renovated. Thanks!

Location About a 5 minute uphill walk to Piskopiano village centre. Here there are plenty of bars and restaurants. You can also walk down to Koutouloufari from here in about 10 mins. Old Hersonissos is about 15 mins the other way. Hersonissos is about a 25 minute walk downhill. All the staff at the hotel are very friendly and will call you a taxi if needed.FacilitiesThe pool is beautiful. The sun loungers are extremely comfortable. The pool bar man is very friendly and efficient. The pool area was always clean and there are umbrellas for shade all day if required. There are gorgeous views of the mountain from the main pool. The hotel is set in some beautiful gardens. The pool area was always very peaceful and relaxing. Great for reading a book. There are also books available to read free of charge which are kept near the bar area which is a nice touch.BreakfastThe buffet style breakfast was delicious. The food was fresh and tasty. This area was always clean and tidy.RoomsWe chose to stay in a non refurbished one bedroom apartment. It was basic as we expected but had everything you needed. The beds are very comfortable. It was an extra 80 euros for the air con for 2 weeks and they let us have the safety deposit box for free. We had a late flight and so they let us keep the room on for 20 euros extra.

Our stay at Mika Villas was fantastic! We felt completely at home from start to finish.We were warmly welcomed at the departure point of our transfer from the airport, we were helped with carrying our belongings and were immediately shown around our stay and the Piskopiano area. Our friendly host also emphasized several times on arrival that we could ask her anything and that she wanted to contribute in every possible way to a relaxing holiday.In addition, we were positively surprised on arrival because we received an upgrade of our room. This is because our flight from the previous day was cancelled, so we only arrived at Mika 1.5 days later. Our room upgrade greatly mitigated the disappointment of our canceled flight.Our further stay at Mika Villas was also very pleasant! The breakfast was good, the whole staff team was friendly and the location was great. A village with nice restaurants and shops is a 2-minute walk away. Very friendly people everywhere and you can eat very well at the restaurants.The beach is a 15/20 minute walk away and for all excursions that can be booked in the area (for example, to sail to other islands) we were picked up neatly and brought to Mika Villas. In short, we had a great holiday and a wonderful stay at Mika Villas!We will definitely come back!!
