Rooms

Sport

The pool complex ensures comfortable swimming with its pleasantly heated water and 4 outdoor and indoor pools. Children can splash around in a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, bocce, beach volleyball and paddle tennis. With jet skiing, paddle boating, snorkelling, diving and aquafit available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, yoga and callisthenics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and a beauty salon. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include 5 restaurants, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include half board, full board and all-inclusive. Breakfast, a lunch à la carte and dinner delight guests with culinary treats and a wide variety of dishes. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Perfect Holiday! The room was impeccably clean. The hotel has a very good service Team. I was really impressed! We had a birthday dinner for our son on the beach our waiter Sergios was really professional. We can highly recommend the Resort. We will come back 😊

    We stayed in Minoa Palace for two weeks, with our 9 year old son and 5 month old daughter. And had an absolutely amazing stay! The hotel is stunning, we couldn't believe how grand and beautiful it was. We arrived late at night and there was a bottle of wine and welcome note waiting for us. The staff are incredible. So friendly and helpful. In particular one waitress Irini made us feel so welcome, would always be so lovely to my son who said he'll miss her when we left! Another woman every day would come round and show me all the gluten free options of the buffet which was so helpful. Stella in the shop so lovely too. I could go on and on about how kind and above and beyond everyone went for us. They made our first family holiday in 10 years feel so special. The cleaners were amazing too and should get so much credit. Everything was SPOTLESS. Our room was cleaned every day. The pools were clean, surrounding areas beautiful. And the food was absolutely beautiful. We were only breakfast included but the options were vast, fresh, varied. Coming from British boring breakfast buffets... to this... I miss it! They even had a whole honeycomb each morning. We attended many dinner buffets and again, just such well thought out tasty beautiful food. The chef was so friendly and lovely too. The restaurant near the beach was dreamlike. I cannot reccomend this place enough and we sincerely hope we can return in the future. Thank you to everyone at Minoa Palace from Heather, Chris, Arlo and Esme.

    We stayed for 8 nights, the room was fantastic with lots of space. The pools, private beach area and location meant there was always something to do. From the minute we arrived the staff we helpful, happy to help with great service .     First time visiting Greece (Crete) absolutely lovely people and amazing island. Greece has won my heart ❤️. The hotel itself is very clean, staff do the upmost for you and make your stay very pleasant, always have a smile on their faces and always there to help you. Their English is very good which is a bonus. We stayed in room 401 which was very handy as you was a stones throw from everything next to the main pool/bar, Elia restaurant, the piano bar next to reception and the mini market. Plenty of sun loungers round the pool and people never rushed to secure the sun loungers like in Spain where it’s a mass free for all which makes a pleasant change . The new part of the hotel across the bridge is very modern and looked amazing. Offers a great view of the sea and sun rises/sun sets we always went down at 8 to just sit there and watch the world go by. If you want to eat at the thalassa in the mornings at breakfast/dinner make sure you go to reception to book. If your full board it’s 100% worth buying the all inclusive for drinks as it’s not included works out to 19 euros per person per day your staying.
