  Cannot fault the Mistral. Transfers, welcome, rooms, food and facilities all excellent. Every member of staff was professional, helpful and friendly. Good location with a 'family' atmosphere. So good I've already booked for next summer.

  Spectacular Hotel

  Went in June 2024. First time I traved out of U.S. and was a wonderful experience. We were in a group but could have traveled on my own. Hotel rooms are wonderful, food is spectacular and staff is the best ever. Excursions they offer are a definite go to. You won't be sorry you stayed here.

  Lovely family hotel for single travellers!

  Great hotel catering for single travellers only. Fab authentic and delicious Cretan food every night but Sundays; hotel collects from airport if you arrive on a Tuesday. Good regular bus service to and from Chania, and on towards Kissamos. Hotel offers daily trips to lovely places around. Confortable rooms; two lovely pools; great ambiance - the best of Cretan hospitality, with many returning again and again.

  A wonderful week away

  This was my first solo holiday and it was perfect. As soon as I arrived at the airport someone was waiting for me to take me to the hotel. On arrival, Adonis shook my hand which made me feel like the rest of the holiday would be good. Next morning I went for breakfast and sat by myself, but within minutes someone asked if they could join me, and from that moment I was always with people for the whole week. There are trips which you can go on or you just do your own thing. I went into Kolymbari with a few friends and visited the Monastery. I also went into Chania with a friend and we looked at the shops and went down to the port, the whole experience there was great. The hotel and rooms are lovely and the staff are extremely helpful and make you feel at home. I would thoroughly recommend coming here.

  3rd Visit - Painful, Expensive,Tearful….I’ll be back 😎

  So how was my 3rd visit to The Mistral….Painful….my sides are still sore from splitting with laughter… Expensive….i will once again have to buy a new wardrobe ( to avoid indecent exposure) due to the bountiful quality of the food….Full of tears…..mostly of laughter but then the inevitable emotional goodbyes.Now, I could stop there but I like the odd ramble now and again 😁.The rooms, were once again beautiful, the pools inviting and the bushes well trimmed.Those that enjoyed the treatments said they were sublime, offering a number of options from full Monty to you can leave your hat on.Whilst our celebrity friend Anthea was not holidaying this week, we did enjoy a visit with the black eyed peas and leg end Charlie, the dance off and last woman at the bar contest was won by an 84year young 4foot dynamo ( that is definitely a story for the journal) 😂.There were beautiful serenades, there were mojito moments, there were Mandy moments, birthdays celebrated, there were one to many baby Guinness and flaming shot moments🤢. There was a range of wildlife from crickets, to praying mantis, butterflies, ginger foxes, silver foxes and more than a few dancing queen bar flies.There were friendships renewed and some friendships missed but lovely new friendships made.Thanks all for the sharing, caring, joy and inspiration, it was as someone said Brilliant! So whilst I look nothing like Arnie, I’ll be back 😎 ( unless some of the videos see the light of day 😂) …maybe for that planned 100th birthday 😁 Yamas!
