    Super small hotel.

    This hotel is a 3 star. It stands up above many 3 star hotels. Being so small (47 rooms ) it obviously can’t stand up to the large hotels in some areas. Of course there is only one restaurant and one swimming pool! In every thing that concerned us it was very good. The rooms and public spaces were always clean. The pool areas were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful even though we visited at the end of the season. So nice to find a small hotel. Suitable mainly for couples wanting a peaceful, comfortable holiday. Hire a car. There are beautiful places to visit.

    Lovely hotel. Staff friendly and very helpful. Room cleaned daily, spotless. Shower room was dark as it had floor and up to ceiling modern charcoal colored tiles, still dark with light on! All areas very clean with well maintained pool. We were all-inclusive, never had to queue or wait for a table at meal times. So good, we've booked to go back next year.

    We have just had a 10 day holiday here, (23rd September-3rd October),and really enjoyed our stay, despite badly spraining my ankle on the fifth day!! The staff are all lovely and Katerina on reception was extremely helpful and kind after my accident. I was given ice packs and a bandage, and she even put it on for me. She helped with local information and organised car hire. Emmanuel on the desk in the evenings also helped, and rang for taxis which were needed to allow us to go out to the local restaurants. The rooms were good and the gardens and pool area lovely. The hotel is so relaxing and Kolymbari is still very traditional! Can't wait to go back next year!!

    Just back from Mrs Chrysannas. The hotel was very pretty and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As we arrived late 1am, there was no-one to meet us, but our key and directions were left at the front door and we checked in fully the next day. The room was spacious, had a good sized balcony with sea view, but was in the shade all day and the room lacked storage for our clothes having just a wardrobe and only enough room in the drawers for underwear, so we lived out of our cases. The pool area was lovely but not so of you have children, as nothing for them except a shallow pool. The pool did not open until 10.30 so if you want an early morning swim you will be disappointed and closed at 7.30 for our 1st week but got earlier and earlier during our stay until it was closing at 6. This hotel advertises as quiet and tranquil and it was, but was lacking in atmosphere and could have done with some Cretan music at the bar and in the background at the restaurant area to remind us of where we were staying! The food. Well it was a bit hit and miss for us. Staying all inclusive we had a buffet for the meals. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of cooked or continental. but the cooked was cold by the time we reached the table with it. Lunch and dinner were uninspiring and we were offered some very fatty pork on at least 4 occasions. There was a lack of vegetables at the evening meal - thank goodness for the greek salad which I ate a lot of! Other reviews mentioned a bbq at the pool area during the day but all we were offered was sandwiches and cake. We ate out several times to get a more greek experience. The area was quiet, the village was small and a bit out of the way but the bus to Chania was frequent and cheap. Loved Chania!. Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt it could have been better

    Holiday with Jet 2hours late.com.About hotel. It's the best hotel,open layout, good swimming pool, rooms are very good for 3*, clean and most importantly the food and the staff are amazing, trying their best to help with smile.thank you all and the kitchen staff. Very healthy and tasty food. Thank you to staff at the reception very helpful thank you, and thank you to staff at the bar, they entertained our child and served us with smile.we will certainly come again and recommend this hotel
