  Artemis Restaurant, Nana Golden Beach, CreteStayed here with a larger tennis group and ended up eating at Artemis multiple times. Consistently strong across the board.What stands out first is the operation. Very well managed. Service is fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly without being intrusive. You feel there is a competent manager behind it, and that makes a difference. Staff is coordinated, efficient, and in a good mood, which is rare at scale.Food offering is broad and well structured. Large selection, international and local, something for everyone without feeling chaotic. Quality is solid throughout, with some dishes clearly above average for a resort buffet.Cleanliness and presentation are a clear priority. Everything is behind glass, very hygienic, almost clinical in a good way. It gives confidence, especially with kids and in a high traffic environment. You can tell they take this seriously.A special mention to Kiamós, who stood out well beyond expectations. Exceptionally friendly, present, and genuinely caring. When my young sons ran out of tokens in the game arcade, he quietly gave them 20 euros and did not even want it back. That is not service, that is character. In a place named after Artemis, it felt almost on theme, as if he had been sent by the Greek gods to look after guests.Bottom line. Good people, good food, very efficient execution. First time here, will come again. Easy recommendation.

  Outstanding Every Single Year

  We’ve been returning to Nana Golden Beach for over 15 years, which probably says more than anything else ever could. It’s become a real home-from-home for us. Over the years we’ve visited with family, met friends there, and built genuine relationships with the staff, many of whom now greet us on a first-name basis.A special thank you has to go to Ritsa and Konstantina, who consistently go above and beyond to make every stay as enjoyable as the last. Their warmth, professionalism and attention to detail truly set the tone for the whole resort.The resort itself offers something for everyone. The à la carte restaurants are fantastic, with a wide variety of high-quality options that make dining a real highlight rather than just part of the day. There’s an excellent choice of pools, so it never feels overcrowded, and the water park is a huge hit with the kids, keeping them entertained for hours.The drinks selection is great, service is consistently friendly and efficient, and the overall setting is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind.Whether you’re travelling as a couple, with family, or with friends, this place genuinely caters to all. After 15 years of returning, we still look forward to every visit, which says everything about the standard Nana Golden Beach continues to deliver.

  This was our 11 th time at nana golden beach, we try to come every year . We love this hotel , the food and drinks are of high standard and there is always plenty of choice . We came this year for my mums 65 th and the staff made us feel really special, getting a birthday cake and making a fuss of her. We have a little girl and so we spent all of our time at the pool the waterpark and the beach - all of which are on site and are amazing. My fave restaurant is azzuro it is at one side of the hotel it over looks the bay but my mothers is thalassa which over looks the beach at the other side . Food and drinks are available around the clock and it’s proper alcohol too , the beer is their own brand and it’s a great drink. There is an oriental , sushi , meat , Mediterranean and Italian on-site which you can eat at and the main restaurant has a wonderful selection of meat or fish and veg, chips , salads breads etc and if you have a fussy eater like my 9 year old they do chicken nuggets and chips or pasta in tomato sauce or pizzas ( plus plenty of other options these are just the ones she’s eats ) . The rooms are always clean and bottled water is provided daily , the rooms also have complimentary mini shower gels , shampoo conditioners and body lotion which are also replaced when you need a top up . Nothing is overlooked , you want for nothing when you stay at nana golden beach. We will be back next year !

  GREAT HOLIDAY COMPLEX, WE GOT UNLUCKY

  Hi all just returned yesterday from what should have been a wonderful break,to a small nightmare,of which none was the fault of nana,we where just very unlucky,first 2 days overcaste no sunshine,3rd day in hospital with a strange bug that really wiped me out,but at least while i was safe inside the sun was out outside,hospital was great really went totown with every test known to man,oh happy day when the bill comes.But back to Nana our room was really good,as requested,sea view,low down,nicely decorated only gripe is as it states satalite tv if 2 news channels in english qualify my other little gripe is we were given a map of the complex witch you deffinately need,but it failed to show where the toilets are,as i found out to my embarrassment when i was forced to take a leak infront of 2 bewillderd ladies,a moment i will never forget.On the plus plus side,the food is really good and varied if you cant find somrthing to your taste,its you not them drinks flowed like water.out of the alacarte resturants we tried 4 all of which were amazing,we loved the Japaneses food atmosphere just right,the nightly entertainment was really good professional acts not reps doing theireevening jobs.another small bug is the kareoke bar was like an extention off the kids club with young unaccomponied 10-14 year olds running around ,and when the crowd got going about midnight it closed could do with about another hour,we were very gratefull that we were able to keep our room on till departure time, we will be going back loved the place,this complex has everthing to offer all ,bye the way i'm 81yrs old been all over the world from 5 star to self catering I'm an ex entertianer i know what i'm talking about(even if my spelling isnt up to much) So go for it and enjoy

  We had a wonderful stay at Nana Golden Beach Hotel. The property is truly stunning — beautiful location, spotless facilities, and incredible landscaping. It really feels like a little paradise on the island.The food overall was very good, with plenty of variety. The only exception was the Artemis restaurant, which felt more like a canteen experience compared to the rest.Activities were decent, though there is room for improvement in terms of professionalism for some shows (for example the magician/illusionist). That said, the Greek show and African show were both enjoyable highlights.One important point: during rainy days, the hotel struggles to adapt. There are very limited indoor activities beyond eating and drinking, which can make the experience feel a bit repetitive when the weather doesn’t cooperate.A huge thank you to Angelina, Antonis, Dimitris, Nontas and Leonora — they truly made our stay flawless. Always friendly, kind, and professional even after long working hours. Their presence made a real difference.One small downside: being asked repeatedly for reviews just a few minutes after meeting staff can feel a bit excessive.Special mention as well to Mani, the account manager, who is clearly very attentive and continuously working to improve the hotel on a daily basis.Overall, a beautiful stay with outstanding people and a few areas that could be refined to make the experience even better.Big up from Belgium 🇧🇪
