  Perfect stay — new, super clean, and full of care!

  Perfect place — everything is new, super clean, and just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Eva, the owner, is incredibly kind and helpful! I forgot my phone charger at home, and she even drove me to a shop in her car so I could buy one. The pool is beautiful and very clean. The studio has everything you need. I’ll definitely come back!

  Home away from home in Crete

  This is our second year going to Nikolas Apartments in Ammoudara Herakliou, Crete. We will certainly go back every time we go to Crete, it is our home away from home. The property is recently renovated, very clean, very tided, with a beautiful garden. The kitchen has everything you need. There is also a swimming pool which the owners have brought up to the new covid19 standard requirements. Of course, you have the awarded Ammoudara beach, 6Km long, just a few steps from the property. The owners are very nice, very helpful, very accommodating. The property has ample space for parking if you arrive by car as we did. If you are concerned about the coronavirus issue, the property is up to standards and complying with all related protocols. There are restaurants nearby, we ate mostly at Aris-Katerina which is a bit further away, but an enjoyable walk through the resort (or by car, there is parking next to the taverna). The property is close to the main port of Heraklion, reachable by bus no. 6 or by car (there are many parking parks, so driving to Heraklion is not a problem). There is also a huge Sklavenitis supermarket, a Shell petrol station, quite a few pharmacies, etc in the area.

  Great Standards, Great Value

  It seems to me that Nicolas appartments couldn't possibly be surpassed for location, standards and value for money.Its more than a coincidence that on every visit do you see the familiar face of a repeat guest.It appears to be popular with most of our friends in Europe and beyond.The standards here are first class, a lovely pool and a favourite with kids, apartments upgraded and the location near the beach, shops and restaurants is so convenient.I secured a 3week stay for my family this year and considered myself lucky, so much that I made our reservation for 2020 whilst there.   Never tire of this place!

  Just returned from another 2weeks break in Crete, and it wouldnt be the same without a stay here.Its a family run block of apartments, all beautifully clean and well maintained.In its own private grounds and just a short stroll from the beach.A lovely swimming pool, and maintained daily by the father of a really friendly and helpful family. Eva (daughter) has everything in hand and couldn't possibly be any more helpful.Easy stroll to local tavernas,supermarkets and bus stops into Heraklion (€1:70 fare.)Have considered staying elsewhere,but concerned I may not have the standards.So will return again next year,and I suggest you will too!   Nikolas is our second home we are coming back every year we love this place we relax from the first dayThe apartments are good and the owners do their best to feel comfortable !the apartment is clean and you can cook anything you want in the small kitchenette.You can make a nice greek salad the owners have their own garden and give fresh tomatoes to their tenants.
