    This hotel is about a minute's walk from Rostock Hbf that has trains to many German destinations.I received a room with two single beds. Not my preferred configuration but the bed was comfortable.The carpeted bedroom had good lighting, an upholstered chair and desk and a good size TV with BBC and CNN but no movies.WiFi worked faultlessly.The bathroom was small but well designed with a terrific shower that did not cause the well lit batgroom mirror to fog up.Towels were white and fluffy.There were two lifts for which I never had to wait long.There was a PC for guests' use across from reception.The curtains blacked out light.Staff were friendly.

    A perfectly fine hotel right next to the train station in Rostock. There are many restaurants nearby at the train station and you are, of course, at the heart of the regional transit system. H-rewards gets you a transit ticket. Good service, very German breakfast clean and convenient. So that's most of what you want in a convenient hotel.

    We were very pleased with the value we got for the low price of this no-frills hotel! The breakfast buffet included in the room price was copious and delicious. The rooms are small and sparse but adequate, which is to be expected at this price point. The hotel personnel is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located next to Rostock's main train station, making it easy to get to for out-of-town travelers and a great location from which to explore the city (both the Straßenbahn into the old town and the S-Bahn to Warnemünde are steps away in the train station). We also liked that there's a bar in the hotel for a late-night drink. Would stay there again!

    Intercity Hotel Rostock was located at the main railway station on the outskirts of Rostock city.The hotel room was simply furnished but contained the essentials. However, the air quality was poor and the air conditioner worked poorly so it got very hot in the room. The cleanliness was as expected. The bathroom was small and simply decorated.The breakfast at the hotel was very good and varied, with a good selection of both hot and cold dishes.The staff seemed uninterested and were passive in meeting me as a guest. It lacked both smile and service attitude.Based on this, I can not recommend this hotel to others and will not visit it again myself.
