  Lovely hotel

  Stayed here for 10 nights 12th -22nd May with Jet 2 in a Junior Suite with hot tub over looking the mountains. Everything was perfect, we were half board and the food was lovely only thing was nothing was labelled so could be a problem for anyone with allergies/vegan etc. but the restaurant staff are lovely so I'm sure they would have helped anyone if needs be. There are 2 pools but not much room to sit around them but they never got busy (maybe a fight for beds in high season) always got one when we wanted and no one was reserving them at silly o'clock. There is a lovely bar which overlooks the beach and often called for a night cap. Again staff are lovely. They do nails and massage and there's a private area with a jacuzzi and loungers which I assume you can book although I only saw two couples use it whilst we were there. Also there is a shower you can use if you have a late flight. Our room was lovely beds changed every day and shower gel and shampoo re-filled daily. The only thing I'd say is there's not a lot of storage space so ended up leaving things in my case but again not a problem. Our hot tub got a bit dirty a couple of times (even though we showered before using it) told them at reception and someone came and sorted it right away which meant it was ready for the evening when we chilled with a glass of wine. Bali itself is very hilly so could be a problem for some and the coach drops you on the main road outide Manos Palace so you have to get your cases up and down the hill which would be difficult for some. The resort is very quiet, no British bars showing football just lovely tavernas which we went in for drinks only as we were HB. The beach is lovely and sandy but they do cram far too many sunbeds and the ones outside the hotel are 20 euro for 2 and a parasol although I did read a review from 2024 before we went that stated they were free but not now. We sat on our towels on the sand but you have to walk down a bit to were there's no sunbeds. Overall we had a good time, glad we opted for a room with hot tub although the weather was lovely , it can be turned down accordingly. Would I go back YES definately. Thanks to all the lovely staff from the reception to the cleaners to the bar staff and restaurant staff for a lovely holiday.

  Hotel is located at the beach, no need to go far. Rooms are clean and cosy. Swimming pool right in front of your balcony, hotel staff is doing the best all the time to meet your requirements, very pleasant people. Meal is excellent, great choice every day, various menu, the chef is so hard working and dedicated to his job. The beach is rather small, but lots of bars and restaurants makes it less unbearable.

  Really amazing hotel, 2 swimming pools and really good place right next to the sea. There is not so much to explore around that area. Feel free to choose this as the resting place to have drinks, good food and chill by the sea.

  This is NOT a 4 star hotel. I think it’s important people know what they’re booking. These are essentially studio apartments with a below average buffet restaurant. But even then, the studios are equipped with nothing but a fridge. Ours didn’t have so much as a teaspoon. There is none of the service you’d expect from a 4 star hotel. You’re very much left to fend for yourself. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. There’s no room service, the pool bar never opened in the week we were there so I had to go down to the beach bar and bring drinks back each time. The loungers on the beach are not free for guests (and are the most expensive in the area at €30 a pair, go elsewhere). You even have to pay for fresh towels if you want to take them to the beach. The locals have completely filled the beach with loungers so be prepared for a rather cramped experience. The next bay along is nicer. The buffet breakfast is good but I was stopped taking a cup of coffee back to the room with me. Even though there’s no coffee machine in the room, no room service, and the pool bar was never going to open he said. The buffet restaurant does an evening meal for €20 each. It was awful. The food was cold. I asked for a wine list but was just told “red or white”. Eat elsewhere for cheaper. The restaurant by the beach has a lovely ambience and vibe but sadly the food is also substandard and the staff are unfriendly (apart from lovely Ava!) Despite going in there for drinks every day there was no recognition from the staff. We had prawns and mussels which did not taste fresh and when I asked the waiter he could not confirm if they were fresh or not. I guess there’s the answer. The communal pool areas are lovely, and clean too, and the rooms are a great size, but just without the 4 star feel. We even had to make our own bed on the first night. Bizarrely the sheet was left folded up on the bed for us. The bathroom sink never had working hot water and the shower smelled of rotten eggs when in use. We also had flies in the bathroom like another review mentions. The safe is not digital and required us to go and ask for a key at reception. I stopped asking the receptionist for help because she did not seem at all interested to be honest. Even when I told her my young child had fallen ill she told me to check the doctor info online myself. Likewise, in the restaurant I told the waiter I needed to eat but was going to put my daughter into bed in the room. There was no offer of bringing food to the room. I had to leave her alone in bed and rush back to the restaurant for it. If you don’t mind self service and manage to get a last minute cheap deal here (as we did thank goodness), then this place is great. But just don’t expect a 4 star hotel. I have no idea how it has this accolade.

  A hotel were you feel at home

  Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time at nostos! The staff are really lovely people and made us feel right at home. Even though the hotel is on the strip it was very quiet and peaceful inside the room. Drinking a coffee in the morning on the free beach beds was my favourite time of the day. The Nostos cats are well taken care of and love a cuddle :) I would definitely recommend this hotel! 10/10 would come back!
