Facility

English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the hotel provides various services and facilities, including a safe, a playroom and a smoking area. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel from February to June. We had the best room for sure. Breathtaking view of the sea and fortezza. There is one shared living room with the TV set (free netflix). Beautiful view from the balcony over the Rethymno.

Very nice and helpful owner.Great place with amazing view on the sea.Nice point for starting travel through entire island.We spend here our anniversary and it was great. We were traveling a lot, tho.Bathroom is not too big but its enough for every nececery doings ;)

It is among the worst rooms that i ever had to stay. I had to stay there for work, so i havent choose it, and of course i would never choose a place like this one. Not very clean, dated, with a serious need of renovation, broken fringe, and a bath.... just, no.... Its a shame, cause it is in very nice location, right by the beach, with a beautiful view, but that its just all... The isolation, also no good, so, very noisy. For those who want to spend their holidays in Rethymnon, do your self a favor, and find a better place than this one.

Incredible value with a great seafront location

What a lovely little find! Ostria Studios is about halfway between the Venetian habour and the end of the promenade I would say. Eleutherias is one of the few wider streets connecting the promenade with the main thoroughfare so there's always a fair amount of traffic turning in front of the hotel. Not or barely noticeable though once the windows are closed. A supermarket and a bakery are nearby.The balcony is spacious and equipped with a rather wobbly table, two chairs, and a laundry airer (no clothes pegs). But who's to complain when you are directly overlooking the sea? Note that this is obviously north facing so no sunbathing on the balcony. Although there may be some late afternoon sun in high season, not sure.The room itself is quite spacious with two single beds put together, a triangular table with two chairs, a small flat screen TV and a kitchenette (no tea towels, no washing-up liquid). The bathroom was a bit on the small side with an even smaller shower. Only soap provided.We never had a problem parking our rental car for free on the promenade more or less in front of the hotel. Not sure if this is always the case or if we were just lucky because of low season. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and responded to emails quickly.This property is not wheelchair friendly by the way. There are some stairs to be climbed before you get to the lift.In short, would definitely stay here again.

My partner and me spent 8 night in the apartment, with full sea view and a huge balcony. Nice and clean accommodation, great choice for someone who don't like the "all inclusive feeling". Great location and nice, flexible, helpful staff. Good restaurants in the nearby area and harbour is only a 10-15 minutes walk.Would highly recommend!
