    The attitude to Russian and other people in Tsalos Beach

    The owner doesnt like Russian people, he gives the worst rooms to them and never helps them in any questions, he has his restaurant on the territory and all bad smells from the kitchen are on your balcony and screams of kitchen ladies, who wash the dishes, in front of you, if you live near this place, we lived in room 3. I'have asked the owner to help us with screaming of Greek women and our TV was off, but he said that we are from Russia and he cant help us.

    Very bad hotel

    1. The staff have all got bad attitude for the type of business that are in. ( we arrived at the hotel at out 23:30pm and was told to f### off by about 23:45pm by the girl we asked about checking in.)2. When we finally got to the apartment there was black hair all over the floor, black pubic hair in the shower old used soap in the shower but the apartments are cleaned everyday (apparently)3. Wi-Fi & Air conditioning not working air con only blows out hot air, Wi-Fi only works on the beach not in the apartments like advertised.4. Pool. The pool has got green slime all over the steps and at the bottom of the pool and the water looks very dull ( l would not let my dog swim in it.)5. It calls it self a beach hotel as it has its own part of the beach but you have to pay to use sun loungers and umbrellas.6. The list can go on and on but this is only my second day of my holiday l don't want to wast the rest of my holiday writing about the bad things about this hotel.7. Good points are there is none.

    Pros - great location with restaurant, supermarket, pool and beach all together. Staff speak good English and give a warm welcome. Some rooms are reasonably well equipped and comfortable. Nice clean linen and towels, comfortable beds. Waiter service on the beach across the road and they bring round ouzo and watermelon. Supermarket has lovely staff and is well stocked. Clean pool with toilet and shower. Restaurant has great food and friendly service.Cons - some rooms are in need of updating and a bit of maintenance. No air-conditioning (allegedly there's a charge for it but by the appearance of the equipment I doubt it would work anyway and no fans available. I wouldn't have slept with an open patio door or window for fear of mosquitoes or cockroaches, so made for a few sticky nights. The towels or sheets weren't replaced over a week long stay. Not many dishes but ate out so didn't matter to us. The room partially overlooked the sea and the extractor fan from the restaurant kitchen.Overall it was OK for the money, but a little bit neglected, however generally tolerable. The convenience of the location and friendly staff compensated for its shortcomings.

    I just came back from Crete. I was staying in Tsalos Beach. The owners are so welcoming, so heartwarming, just amazing! They helped us in everything we needed. The room was really nice, with a balcony where we were spending evenings. It is in front of the beach, with a big supermarket and very good restaurants around it. I recommend this place to stay!

    This restaurant is right on the beach. We spent most of our holiday being looked after by their staff on their sunbeds especially Alexandros. He was friendly, funny and nothing was too much trouble for him. We ate in the restaurant several times and would highly recommend their Cretan night.
