  The parking is dirt and in bad condition, the exterior of the hotel gives a feeling of abandonment. Old-fashioned rooms, although they say it was recently renovated and at night we spent a lot of heat despite having the heating turned off; the very friendly staff; the very basic breakfast buffet and the "thermal" pools spent cold in the water, in fact we left early for cold and when leaving the water it was very cold. Our idea is to do the treatments and go to the room to rest and as soon as we arrive they tell us that no that day there is no place, which should be the day we leave, in fact we stayed at the hotel exclusively because of that, and after doing the treatments we took the car 90 km home, very disappointing. In short, not to repeat. We traveled many spas, baths, spas, etc., all over Galicia, even in the caldaria chain (Lobios and Laias) and this is the worst we were.   Bad experience. They don't care about customers all their lives

  Caldaria spas have been in decline. The lousy food and we had a problem with the room and we slept fatally from a cistern noise and were not able to fix it in 6 days or change to another room that was free but said it was superior and could not change us. We made the amicable claim to settle and they totally ignored each other despite being customers for many years. So we won't come back Originally submitted in Spanish on www.tripadvisor.es.   Hotel is basic, maybe visit for the treatments

  Visited the hotel for one night to visit the Spa circuit. Overall, we were not impressed. The rooms are quite basic. Small bathroom with a standard size bed. The TV is about the size of a laptop screen. We had a room with a terrace that overlooked the river but also a strip of brown grass immediately in front of the balcony. The breakfast was simple, the minimum of what one would expect from such a place. The spa circuit was closed upon arrival so we took advantage of it the next day. It seems strange to close at 7pm. The parking situation at the hotel is nebulous. There is a parking garage but entry doesn’t work even with the key. There is not a reasonable place to park for checkin or reception. The spa circuit was OK. The thermal pools were nice but could have been warmer. They didn’t have the jets on in the thermal water. You need to bring a swim cap and shoes otherwise you will be charged for it (these are free if needed at other spas).The location is remote. It’s about 10 minutes to the nearest town with a few other restaurantsPerhaps this place has great spa treatments. Other reviews seem to emphasize that. We can’t see any reason to go back.

  Great treatments in a fantastic landscape !

  I bought a 10 day health treatment in Caldaria Arnoia after a friend advice and it was the best I could do. I’m leaving tomorrow and I am very happy I choose this Spa. Nice comfortable bedroom with a breathtaking landscape ,also very good food every day .The Spa treatments are very good , and I done a lot : pressure applications, peloids (parafangos), manual therapies, facial and body aesthetic treatments,steam bath etc. It was so relaxing to swim every day watching this fantastic landscape or relax in other pools listen relaxing music.The hotel is extremely well clean and kept and the staff are really nice ,always there to help .Thank you all for such an amazing stay , I came with rheumatic pains in my joints and I leave very relaxed ,No Pains and Happy 😊Will be back again !

  Nice and relaxing landscape

  Just returning from a few days break, we choose this hotel because of the area - it's nicely located in forest and facing rio Minho - and announced SPA facilities.Overall and for a 3 star hotel, it's good, big room with basic wc, simple breakfast, good diner, excellent walking area near the river, free outside car parking and 01 hour free of, let’s say two inside swimming tanks access.For additional EUR 20,00 you can access for 2 hours “Alvea”, a big swimming pool but poorly equipped as a circuit with what it’s maybe expected from a SPA facility. The main advantage is it has big windows with a terrace facing the river, where you can get some sun and have a free juice or tea. About SPA treatments no complain, good service and professionals, but temperature of the space should be increased (22 degrees against 30 degrees on water), the same for the rooms were AC seems not to be able to hot the room, and the same issue for Alvea, after some time you feel uncomfortable.On the other side of the river you have a place called “Termas Prexigueiro”, imagine a outside SPA with hot natural water! Don’t miss as well a visit to “barrio judio” of Ribadavia, closest city to Arnoia, very old and well preserved buildings.
