  Excellent value and very helpful owner/manager

  Arriving in Chania at 9pm, in January, our taxi driver met us as arranged but couldn't take us to our destination on the south coast due to bad weather over the mountains. He contacted a couple of places where there was no answer, or they were closed, then tried Pantheon and got us a room. We arrived around 9.30pm, to a lovely clean, spacious apartment - sitting room with basic kitchen/fridge etc. Great bathroom with modern shower. Separate bedroom with plenty of space and very comfy bed. Nice furnishings through-out...simple but adequate to give a minimalistic loft living feel.The bedroom had tinted glass and large windows/patio-doors so you could leave the roller blinds up and enjoy the view.The balcony outside was fairly large and there were chairs/table/clothes dryer...none of this was used by us as it was cold, wet and windy. The manager (Dimitris?) was very professional and extremely helpful.We left the next morning feeling refreshed and relieved to have found somewhere so good, very reasonably priced, clean and comfy at such short notice, out of season. I would not hesitate to return and may decide staying here after a late-ish arrival is a better option.No idea about how far it is to places of interest, but did not seem to be far from mini-markets and places to eat. The view the next morning (with the still threatening weather) may give a guide.

  The photos do not correspond to how the place really is. It is quite far from the city of Chania (using a car is a necessity), there are no parking slots and we had to park on the streets around. Regarding, Cleanliness let's say that it is doubtful matter, there was a smell of smoking cigarettes (there was a whole made by cigarette on our sheet!) all over the place while the towels were as soft as sandpaper (perfect for exfoliating your skin). Save yourself the trouble and find a place that would be actually worth it.

  Not a pet friendly hotel, unprofessional behavior

  The lighting was poor so the apartment was little bit dark. The mattress of the bed was hard and not good quality. The air-conditioning didn't work and there was only one thin blanket within closet. The worst thing I ve ever met in hotel so far is the fact that they charged me higher price than the price was mentioned in my reservation because of the dog we had with us. I asked twice the hotel before proceeding with my reservation if there is an extra charge on the pet. Neither get a reply on this, nor I got informed in advance for the extra charge of 15 euros. When I told that to the owner he said me that he was not obliged to reply on my inquiry! Yes they charge 15 euros for a pet for one night and they supposed to be a pet friendly hotel...They are not obligate to reply but they can charge me on a service without prior notice..Totally unprofessional behavior and they cheated me in a sneaky way. Pet friendly hotels and professionals are not like that. So shame on you.

  I stayed at Pantheon Apartments for 30 days. The apartment owner made me and my colleague feel right at home. The apartment was clean and very spacious and had a awesome view of the sea. Pantheon Apartment is definitely hands down a great place to stay if on business or just for pleasure. I highly recommend Pantheon Apartments.

  I stayed in the Pantheon Apartments for 45 nights in a row. Best decision I could've made. The owner is hands down the most hospitable host I've ever had. He went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The internet never dropped below 30 mbps, which is crucial for a traveling business gal like myself. The apartments are clean. The mattress is firm. The water pressure in the shower is strong. The kitchenettes are useful. The location is just right, it's about 10 minutes from Old town (shopping/bars), and only 3-4 minutes from Mega Place (Bowling/movie theater). If you're hungry & not from the area, the owner won't hesitate to let you know where the good spots are, heck, he may even show you!
