Location

Perfect for beach holidaymakers, families, young people and nature lovers, this urban hotel is situated on a main road in Rethymnon, right on the sand and shingle beach. The centre with all its tourist hotspots can be reached within around 2.2 km. There are a number of bars, shops and restaurants just outside the door.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 148 non-smoking rooms located in a 3-storey main building and 3 auxiliary buildings. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service (for a fee), a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, translation services, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a page service and a hotel doctor. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area. A business centre with projector, fax machine, a flip chart and pens and photocopier is available. Events such as conferences, symposia, lectures etc., but also simple day-to-day business, can easily be arranged with the help of the secretarial service and the conference service.

Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the courtyard from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a sofa bed. For young travellers, children's beds can be provided. There is also a safe and a desk or, for an additional fee, a minibar. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a TV and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and include a hairdryer. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Sun loungers and parasols the sun terrace complete the holiday. There is a poolside snack bar as well. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers horse riding. Water sports available at the hotel include snorkelling, diving, water aerobics and aquafit. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, yoga, callisthenics, aerobics and pilates. A range of wellness facilities, such as a spa and a beauty salon, are offered at the hotel. For a fee, guests can also take advantage of a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, massage treatments, anti-ageing treatments, aromatherapy, cellulite treatment and a reflexology massage. An entertainment programme and live music are also options for entertainment.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a dining room, a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a lobby bar. Catering options include half board and full board. A fortifying breakfast is served daily. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. Baby food (on request) provides for little ones' well being. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The drinks menu includes a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as international brands.

    Great hotel. Very clean. Food good. Very friendly staff, especially, Vanna, Ionna and Iro in the restaurant. Plenty of sunbeds. It was our 2nd visit, will definitely book again.

    Nice clean hotel in a nice quiet stretch of beach outside town. Rooms are nice some with very good disabled access. Food was lovely but we did eat out as well. The staff are brilliant especially the lady's in the dining room even telling us places to visit. The pool areas are nice and spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel.     The staff are so friendly and helpful. Seaview room was large with long balcony and great sea views. Everything we required, fridge, shower, aircon all worked efficiently; slippers and towelling gowns always appreciated. Evening entertainment very good which we enjoyed on the bar patio and from our balcony; the guided local tour was very enjoyable and the guides were knowledgeable on local history of old and new town. Dining area light and spacious, food choice excellent (I often struggle with buffet selection as I do not like spicy food and have a cheese allergy). Wonderful desserts and good drinks menu.     Excellent hotel beautiful location on a long sandy beach

    Located at the far end of beach road it has a commanding position with a view across the bay down to the town and the fortress. It shares the site with its sister hotel Agean Pearl both have their own swimming pools and bars and restaurant.The staff are very friendly and welcoming you feel as if you are part of the family.We had the use of a family room with three beds even though only two of us sea view was excellent the beach and the hotels own area was literally a couple of yards away.We stayed as part of a Jet 2 holiday and found everything well worth the cost.Our room was cleaned and tidied each day all the public area kept spotless and the cleaners all appeared to work hard but kept pride in their work . { well done all of you]The beach road was not as busy as we had feared and in fact we heard very little noise. If you enjoy a noisy busy after dark life then this hotel is not for you as you have a 30-40 minute walk along the promenade to get into the lively area of the town. Taxis cost 7-10 Euros and they congregate around the first square.I have to mention Margarita on Reception she was amazing always smiling and willing to answer any query. The Breakfast and Dinner staff all showed a personal interest in your needs and certainly worked hard.     Good location, good hotel staffs, didn't had any issues. Good to visit with family. But I do recommend hotel management to include indian dishes in their menu or vegan foods.
