    Room was great, staff was friendly and the location is perfect. Hotel had a nice pool, hot tub and fitness center and easy to locate laundry area.     Showers do not work

    Showers do not work. No expectations when checking in to tell you about the showers. When about to jump into the shower, attempted to turn on the water turn the faucet left and right and tried pulling, and nothing happened. Ended up showering from the sink. Called the front desk. They offered to send somebody into my room to turn on my shower water. I’m a 41-year-old strong male and was unable to pull the water on with the instructions they gave me.     We only stayed one night on a road trip East. I thought that their breakfast was more than expected after seeing reviews. My whole family found something. The rugs in the hallways looked a little dirty but overall the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. I loved having 3 queen beds for my family of 5.     Checked in on 8/3/2024 for a wedding at the White Barn Estate in La Grande. The wedding is at 3 (which is check in time) and there were many people attending weddings locally that were requesting early check in to be able to get ready. The staff worked really hard to ensure rooms were ready for everyone a little early. The front desk gal even gave me an upgrade to a king suite as a thank you for being supportive. This is how customer service works. Will recommend and will stay again.     The pillows are small and seem to be about half the size of normal pillows. The ac you n my room did not work. It has been near 100 for weeks and I find it hard to believe no one has said anything. When I called all they said was they were sorry. When I asked about a fan I was told they did not have any. Find another place to stay or drive to Union. I am sorry to hear that your AC was not working properly and keeping up with the warmer temperatures we have been experiencing lately, thank you for letting us know so I can have my maintenance fix this issue. Due to the road closures from the fires we have been at full occupancy every night, we would have gladly switched you to another room had we had another one available to do so. Please rest assure we do try to do everything we can to take care of our guests needs and we will be taking the appropriate steps to prevent any future occurrences for our guests.
