  Yet another wonderful holiday with Georgios and family, at the beautiful Renieris Hotel.The ipitomy of Greek hospitality. We had a suite with superb views over the sea and Kato Stalos, Fresh cooked breakfast with great quality food and lots of choice, try the fresh orange juice worth the extra 3 euros.Spotless hotel and pool plenty of sunbeds, we went to the beach most days and used the sunbeds at Taverna Kimatogi or Esperides beach hotel.True 97 steps down from the hotel keeps you fit.Lots of nice touches at Renieris like free water top-ups from the machine in the restaurant and great ice cold local beer on draught, also you can get a wonderful professional massage therapist Manolis either in room or outside under the trees (my advice trees).From our first visit in 2011 untill now 10 out of 10 see you again soon

  20/9/25 - 4/10/25Family oriented run hotel - George (son) Stella (mother) and family. Not forgetting Tom the cat 🐈 very friendly and likes a sun lounger cuddle. Breakfast - plentiful food options! bacon, sausage, cereal, breads/toast, eggs/omelets, dried fruits, fruits, jams, cheese, meats, teas, coffees, juices, water (unlimited refills).Bar menu/snacks/evening meals - really good choice, delicious, hot and fresh prepared and great price. We had a few evening meals here to save walking into the town. Never had a bad meal! Rooms- ours was 304Overlooking swimming pool, garden and sea view. Bedside table comes with charging usb port. This hotel is quiet and a laid back feel so don’t expect loud music/vibes. This is a relaxing holiday. These rooms are immaculately clean and kept clean throughout your stay here. Greta and Marta are amazing! Towels changed as and when you want them to be ( just leave on floor and they will change but remember the environment cost) One sleeping area of 2 single beds pushed together. Air conditioning.Toilet and shower cubicles with sliding doors, there are body wash and shampoo here in every room, so save money and weight by not bringing any. They have slippers and a shave pack too in the rooms. Beach/pool towel- 1euro eachShort walk into town - we liked eating at Maria’s, oinomelo, Kris kri, kosmas, krinos. Buses - every 20 minutes ( bus stop just along road) and 2 euros into Chania ( they can get a bit packed so be prepared to stand)1 euro up to again marina (busier end) Beach - water very clear and clean. Different areas have some pebbles on edge of sea but there are areas where there is sand. Beach itself not raked at all so expect some debris/stones. Now the only negative we had was we were dropped by easy jet transport at the bottom on the road and expected to carry 2 suitcases up nearly 100 steps. We were delayed on departure flight so didn’t get to hotel til 01:30am. Once my husband brought cases up slowly and stopping regularly, we went to reception and found envelope in our name with room keys. We have since learned that if earlier flights, George will come down and collect you and cases. We will certainly be back at some point and have enjoyed everything that this holiday has to offer.   A wonderful hotel and holiday

  My partner and I stayed here at the start of September and all I can say is that the other positive reviews for here are spot on. Giorgios, his family and team are all such wonderful people they made our stay as enjoyable as it was. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the breakfast buffet was both plentiful and varied as was the food available throughout the day, the drinks were cold and well needed and the added extra of being able to fill your empty water bottle at the bar is ingenious.The pool is big enough and we never had a problem picking our Sun loungers. We met a variety of lovely people who like is didn't have a bad word to say. We had room 304 that overlooked the pool, village and beach and is was suberb, the sunsets being an absolute highlight.The only negative was the minibus driver from the airport dropped is at the roadside and we had to navigate the steps with our cases but we did arrive after midnight otherwise Giorgios would have picked is up as he dropped is down when we were being picked up.If you have mobility issues then the steps down to the road and back up again may be troublesome but we used taxis a fair bit and prices are really reasonable.We wouldn't hesitate to return here one day and again Giorgios thanks to you and everyone there for making our stay so wonderful

  Superb hotel

  Wonderful holiday away with my mum. Could not fault the hotel at all. Clean modern room, pool area was so clean and quiet, staff really friendly. The pool bar food and drink were excellent although the hotel needs to up the prices as they are too cheap for the quality and portion size - my mum and I shared 1 meal for lunch everyday. Steps down to the beach can feel long so this hotel won’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The beach wasn’t the best, and although we had excellent meals in nearby restaurants, the strip of them along the beach is next to a very busy road and it isn’t your typical Greek white cobble streets and boutique shops etc. We went into Chania 1 night by bus which we really enjoyed but it was so busy. The taxi driver on the way back said it is alot better in May and September. Taxi was 15 euros back and bus is 2 euros each. Definitely worth paying for taxis as buses are a bit unpredictable and very busy. Really recommend going to Katsaroles Taverna which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel - absolutely delicious food. All in all a fantastic holiday

  Best hotel in Crete - amazing staff, hotel, food and location!

  This hotel made our holiday amazing! The service was phenomenal, so clean and amazing views, family run hotel with staff that are so attentive and go above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay. This hotel has steps directly to the beach and is 2 minutes from a bus stop. Best hotel in Crete and best holiday we have had in years! Thanks to all the staff. The breakfast / all food in the hotel is amazing and lovingly prepared by the family.
