    Just what we wanted!

    A very restful stay at SanSal Boutique Hotel. Everything was perfect for us. All of the staff greeted us with a smile, and were attentive, helpful and very friendly. The room was very comfortable- with a beautiful sea view. Location ideal- just a five minute walk along the sea front brought us to the shops, bars and restaurants. We will certainly visit again.

    Great location at the edge of the old town part of Chania. A close walk to all the action without the noise of being in the center of it.Room was fantastic with a huge balcony overlooking the water and the housekeeping staff was wonderful in keeping it clean over the duration of my visit.I particularly enjoyed the affinity pool and rooftop patio overlooking the sea and the old town. This was a highlight I took full advantage of at least twice a day.But the best thing about this property is the people, the service and care was remarkable. Kudos to the Alexis and Renata at the front desk and Sotos and Zoe in food and beverage. (I apologize as I'm sure I have mis-spelled the names)I can't recommend this property enough and will definitely be back on my next visit to Chania.

    Smart modern hotel which will be perfect when nextdoor building work finished

    Good position 10 mins walk from the old harbour. Clean l, comfortable, spacious bedrooms with view over the sea. Good breakfast with a wide range of cold and hot dishes and eggs cooked to order, fresh orange juice and fruit. Roof top swimming pool with fabulous views. Guest parking for 9 cars and we had no trouble parking outside. Huge amount of development going on next door - two new hotels being built and on weekdays they start work very early so bring earplugs! It was very windy when we were there and the patio doors are not completely sealed so the wind whistled through the gaps and it was chilly in the room . No heated towel rail or anywhere to dry towels so our towels were damp the whole time. We are not early risers so by the time we got down to breakfast half an hour before it finished there was no fruit salad and the hot food was lukewarm.

    Really better than Good

    This hotel is really Very Good, but that's not one of the TripAdvisor options. We stayed three nights in a Superior Room with Sea View and it was lovely - large room, large balcony looking out at the sea, and large bathroom. The one lady at the front desk was always friendly and helpful. We had a small problem at first in our room, but someone came immediately to fix it - and he turned out later to be the bartender! The rooftop bar and pool is nice and has a fabulous view, but few people were there because of the wind The breakfast buffet was good, but not huge, and you could order eggs. The location is great - not far to walk to the Old Town, but out of the chaos and crowds that are there.

    Gorgeous location - friendly, helpful service - clean, spacious room, incredible view from the roof. We wish we could have stayed all month!
