    Everything you want in one magical spot. The views from the balcony is dreamy. The sea is right there. The pool is amazing. Mina and her team are family. Breakfast is wonderful served under the terrace. Parking is free and the town is 1 mile away. Magical spot.

    Long review, but honest. The room: It had a great view, opening the balcony doors to look out at endless ocean was great, but the rest was basic at best. Kitchen window had Velcro strips to keep it in place, cooking utensils are lacking if you intend to use the space as a self catering set-up, bed was uncomfortable, generally rough around the edges but a nice spot for a couple of days.Booked 7 nights. Arrived late - long drive to Sarikampos. Contacted Mina by email we’d arrive at 2am. Ok’d. 2am- no sign of life so waited silently, noticed a sign with contact info; after 30mins we decided to sleep in the car. Not a great start!At 7am, we approached and were greeted warmly and explained we’d been charged twice after booking glitch; booked flights+hotel, but only charged for hotel, so cancelled straight away + booked flights and hotel. Cancellation done, with a msg sent to Sarikampos/Expedia. Expedia and Sarikampos blamed each other but not entirely sure that either party communicated as both were extremely vague. Mina’s resolution was that we could stay for another 3 nights, but, of course nobody books with extra days; perhaps a shallow offering. Explanation offered for decline of refund was all rooms were full and they had lost money which I totally understand. However, we know FOR A FACT the room we were ALSO allocated AND PAID FOR was occupied. It felt a little Greedy at this point so we decided to move on. Thanks for reading if you made it to the end :)

    Highly recommend this lovely hotel, super clean spacious and well equipped room with great view from balcony . So pleased to have found it and will return. Very nice pool again super clean. Helpful and friendly family who run it. An oasis with trees.

    What a lucky find on the south coast of Crete just West of Myrtos..Set across the street from a beautiful deserted beach on the Libyan Sea...Clean comfortable well priced with a wonderful owner… Who even sent us off with homemade cookies… Thanks Mina ..we will be back!

    Wonderful hospitality in a beautiful setting

    The wonderful welcome and hospitality by Mina will make you want to clone her and take a copy back home with you. What a lovely lady. The hotel is a couple of kilometres along the coast road from Mirtos village, ample parking across the street, welcoming garden setting and cracking sea view. Check-in simple, comfy clean room with all facilities listed, piping hot shower (good water pressure!), and a variety of edible treats provided by Mina. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she cares that you have a good stay.If you're looking to get away from it all with quiet time around a pool or have a great base from which to explore the southern coast, I would wholeheartedly recommend it here.
