Great food, excellent price to value ratio

    rating18 Apr 2026

Really good price to value ratio. Really good food, fresh and with enough variety and a choice for even picky children. Really nice staff. Rooms cleaned every day to a good standard. Plenty of parking spaces. An option to order packed lunch was really helpful. Were the rooms dated and wine mediocre at best? Yes, sure. But again, for that price I think it’s fair. If you look for a place to stay in a resort for a week, that’s probably not the right place. But if you want to rent a car, explore the island and have a comfortable bed and a good food - that’s the pace for you. I really recommend the open air museum which is in a walking distance from the hotel - an amazing place to discover more about life on Crete

    Great hotel amazing staff

    rating11 Jan 2026

I stayed at this hotel for a week, and the experience was truly made easier thanks to the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to assist me-making phone calls on my behalf, helping with directions, and even supporting me with paperwork, all despite the language barrier.George, in particular, was exceptionally kind and understanding during a very difficult time for myself. I'm so grateful for the care and compassion shown to me.The room was spacious, cleaned daily, and very comfortable. Housekeeping and bar staff were all friendly and welcoming. The food was good freshly cooked in front of you on the grill and plenty to choose from.Excellent service all round highly recommended for their outstanding service.

Worst Solo Experience - Ever! Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!

    rating18 Oct 2025

I recently stayed at Semiramis Village and, unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The room itself was clean, but very dated, and the walls were so thin I could hear everything from the neighbouring room, not ideal for a relaxing stay. The pool area was also dated and clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned in some time. While technically usable, it wasn’t inviting, and the sunbeds were old and uncomfortable. The food was by far the worst part of the stay. The quality was very poor, trying to identify what the “meat” or “fish” was became a guessing game. Salads were dried out and there were no proper vegetarian options whatsoever. To make matters worse, the restaurant staff didn’t interact with British guests, which made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming. On the positive side, the bar staff were friendly and helpful and the reception team gave a warm welcome upon arrival. Sadly, that friendliness from all of the reception team didn’t continue throughout the stay.As a female solo traveller, I have never felt so unsafe. There was shouting and screaming at night, doors being rattled and the overall environment felt very insecure. When I raised my concerns, the hotel initially tried to blame me / the brits but dismissed my safety worries. I still didn’t feel safe and ended up leaving early to stay elsewhere.I’ve travelled alone many times and never felt the need to cut a trip short, until now. I would not recommend this hotel to solo travellers, and honestly, not to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, or enjoyable stay.

This is not an all inclusive hotel !

    rating16 Oct 2025

Unfortunately we did not like this hotel. There were no towels at the pool and we weren’t allowed to take the towels from our bathroom, we had to buy towels ourselves. The pool was also freezing cold. The sheets and towels were not very clean. There was not a lot of choice at the buffet and it was very similar each time. The hot dishes were labeled but not the cold ones so it’s difficult to know what it is.We booked all inclusive but there is almost nothing included in this, the soda drinks were not good, it was like it was mixed with water. Only basic, cheap alcohol was included. If you wanted something else you had to pay. In the afternoon there was a very little snack buffet and the ice-creams were not included you had to pay for them. In an all inclusive this is not normal.I also don’t recommend this hotel if you’re vegetarian or vegan, almost no options. It’s also very loud at night, we were close to the elevator and it woke me up every time someone took it.Also nothing in the room to drink, we could only take plastic cups from the bar to our room.I’ve done a lot of hotels in my life and I don’t understand how this is a 4 star hotel.
