Facility

    Booked for a week, left in an hour - didn't even sleep there. Apartments smell, look like a hostel.

    The road to Sfinias from Heraklion/Mira is more than terrible. Instant depression because of the mess and very, very bad road. Dirt in piles all over the place . If you go here, take the other site (west) But we all (family of 4, children 13 & 16) say - don't go here! The welcome to Sfinias was sad and cold. When we walked by the swimming pool there were old men who drank raki playing loud music and yelling. The room of the children smelled like am old bar (longer period of smoking in there) and there was something growing in the closet. Bathroom is old, yellow dirt around toilet. It looks like an old hostel. We read that this building is new, not true! Sfinias is build on a mountain, and you have to walk (august 38/39/40 temperature) up the hill when you go to the private beach. (Beach looks nice) You have to be in good condition. We saw people with subboards, the coast looks calm. View is weird, because of the oil vessels in line which are waiting to be loaded. There is a place to eat when you walk all the way up the hill at Sfinias and that looks really nice. Husband said it smelled not good over there. We booked for a week, didn't stay one night. We thought it was terrible. We never ever did something like this... We would never recommend this to any one. (It's a miracle that Sfinias has got good rates at booking, that's why we booked. Plus photo's looked good. Don't fall for it)

    wonderful place, far beyond the mountains. peace, quiet and family atmosphere. modest rooms but a beach where you can be alone completely makes up for it.it is worth paying attention to delicious homemade food and very good prices.I go back there and I feel like with my family!

    1st let me warn you that if are not comfortable with a rugged drive than this place is not for you. It is dirt and rock road all the way. Once you arrive you will be rewarded with a nice family run hotel. As others have stated it is rough around the edges and needs some TLC but the rooms are large and clean, the pool is nice and the restaurant has spectacular views. The food is good and everything is homemade. The prices are very good. Dinner for two with wine and beer €28. You will not be bothered by crowds on the beach. If you are looking for a hidden gem you will be hard pressed to find better for the price.

    Many thinghs need to improve?....road is very bad, bath hadn`t hot water till evening(sun energy, you know?), nothing to do, Wi-Fi is working only in lobby/ restaurant,TV dosn`t work, nearest food market`s in 11 km away(1 hour to go and back, because bad road) but, it`s nothing . Room is huge and comfortable. Sea is blue. Sands are clear. Food is good and has reasonable price. Silence. Nobody. I like to be on my balcony at nights with inky-night silence.... only birds and cicades voices.. I like your hotel, Marcos. Thank you for our relax.

    Lovely place to visit south beaches

    Everything was perfect. The people of the staff were nice and smiling,, the kind of welcome you need when you arrive tired from a trip. The apartment is wide and has everything you need to spent some days. The balcony has an amazing sea view, perfect to meditate and look the stars. The tavern offera tasty Greek food...we have always eaten there.The road worth the place... the south beaches are amazing..
