    I can recommend Socrates Hotel without any hesitation! We stayed several nights and the service was consistently friendly, helpful and professional, led by Anna on reception, and Despina and crew in bar/restaurant. The hotel and pool area, and our room were spotless. Very comfortable room and beds. Lovely meals available, and delicious varied breakfasts provided. Airport transfers were very helpful, as was other advice and information. Quiet hotel for wide variety of guests. Easy walk to Malia centre and Old Town, and to the beach.

    We were a bit concerned about staying here due to the reasonable proximity to the strip in Malia. It’s actually a perfect distance as you are away from it all and can dip in and out as you see fit.This hotel is wonderful. We absolutely loved it. Relaxing and tranquil with the best staff ever. (Especially Despina) everyone is lovely and cannot help you enough. We will definitely be back.

    We stayed at Socrates Hotel as a group of 14 lads and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating – they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even got to know us all by name, which was a nice touch.The hotel itself was clean and inviting, with a great atmosphere throughout. Rooms were spotless and cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided – including ones for the sunbeds, which was a bonus. The pool area was perfect for relaxing during the day, and the on-site food and drinks were great quality and fairly priced.Location-wise, it was ideal – just a short walk to the Strip, but far enough away that you could still get a decent night’s sleep when you needed it.Big thanks to the whole team at Socrates Hotel for looking after us – would highly recommend!

    Hotel was really nice, people cleaned it every day for us and the bar by the pool was brilliant! Despina was caring and a hard worker and always made our day brighter!
