Location

This apartment hotel is located in the beautiful resort of Stalida, just on the main road, approx. 300 m from the sandy beach. The centre of Stalis, which offers a variety of shops, bars and restaurants, is also 300 m away. The nearest bakery and taverna are just 100 m away. Nikos Kazantzakis Airport is about 32 km away.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 13 apartments. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden.     *Review for Iraklis Apartments, Crete*The location of Iraklis Apartments is definitely a strong point – very close to the beach, shops open until midnight, and you don’t need a car to explore nearby attractions, which is very convenient.However, the accommodation itself was disappointing. The rooms were clean, but there was a charge for air conditioning, and although it's a self-catering apartment, the cooker was extremely slow – even making scrambled eggs took 30 minutes. The pans were old and scratched, and there was no coffee, tea, shower gel, or shampoo provided on arrival. Towels were only changed on the 4th day, which is poor, especially in hot weather when you shower more often.Only one pool was available, and our view was of a wall – not the sea as we hoped. The owner’s husband was not friendly or welcoming. He didn’t allow us to bring our own drinks to the pool, even though this was not an all-inclusive stay. The reception/bar/kitchen area was small, messy, and not very pleasant. They even kept parrot in the same area where food was being prepared, which felt unhygienic.Overall, the location was excellent, but due to the poor facilities and unfriendly atmosphere, I would consider staying elsewhere next time.

    We were a little nervous given the previous couple of reviews but had nothing to worry about. Check in was delayed but to be fair it meant we had a better room in the end. Room was spacious, had seemingly been recently refurbished, and it was well equipped with a brand new kettle in the kitchenette, hairdryer and iron. Room was cleaned regularly with clean towel and bedding during our 10 day stay. We opted for air-con which was very good and hired a fan for the other area of the apartment. Pool area was nice and the food and drinks were really well priced. Maria and Stavros were very friendly and made everyone feel welcome. Can't understand the previous reviews but no complaints from us!

    Location perfect just 5 minutes stroll from beach and tavernas just off the main road but was easy to cross and nit noisey.The rest such a shame really has potential 1 bedroom apartment good size the bathroom especially shower area very dirty we stayed for 12 days had regular clean towels which were OK bed linen clean but all sheets had holes. The apartment & balcony not swept at all we managed to find a broom on ground floor and did it ourselves. As said by others just rubbish old furniture,inflatables and so much other stuff just cluttered everywhere.The pool which is shown on love holidays is for private use only the other pool did not look inviting only 3 umbrellas maybe they had more but certainly not out and it was very hot during our stay we were quite happy to use the beach.Overall this was a cheap holiday just a base I would not revisit and there is better out there for same price so will do better re-search next time.

    Arrived at 2.30 pm and was told 4 hour wait till room was ready shower In the room was filthy . Below the balcony was broken inflatable and other rubbish to look at . Pool was constantly covered in flies . Sunbed were stained and also broken . Mop buckets and rubbish were on show and left as you walked to ur appartment. The pool table /ice hockey table was covered with a broken slide and chair and other rubbish. . There was a dirty cot outside an appartment on the ground floor that had a broken pram and other rubbish in it This was the most disappointing holiday I've had in a long while . Pictures on the holiday web site do not resemble the place . The area where u use your safety deposit boxes/reception had items piled high behind the desk . The most dirty untidy place I've had to stay ever
