Location

Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, this resort welcomes guests in Analipsis.

Facility

This resort has a lift and a reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge). Further services include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, central heating and a fan. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi are provided as well. Guests will also find slippers in their rooms. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. The resort has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

A dip in the refreshing outdoor pool is not to be missed. Even on grey days, guests can always go for a swim in the indoor pool. The pool area also includes a hot tub, a waterslide and a pool bar. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking, beach volleyball and paddle tennis are available. With sailing, catamaraning and aquafit available, the resort also caters to water sports enthusiasts. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym, yoga and callisthenics. The wellness area features various facilities, such as a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, massage treatments and anti-ageing treatments. Live music and a nightclub round out the entertainment options.

Meals

The dining area includes 5 restaurants and a bar. Catering options include all-inclusive and all-inclusive special. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    Amazing hotel!!! perfect for couples

    Stayed within this hotel from 18th-26th April 2026, weather was gorgeous first 5 days however raining the remaining two days due to the time of year. All staff were very attentive and professional, special mention to the Bar staff at umbra bar Maria, Leonidas and Gillman (perfect cocktails every time) Thank you for making our stay extra special đŸ€ Food was amazing, especially al a carte lunches and dinners, couldn’t fault anything, ++recommend.

    Nice resort hotel with some shortcomings

    On the positive side, the hotel property is beautiful, in new condition and well-maintained. The design of the pool complex and rooms is very well done and achieves the “Wow” factor. There is also a sufficient amount of staff, who are energetic, friendly and eager to provide a high level of service. The hotel is located not far from Heraklion/Knossos. The biggest negative in my view is that the water in the vast outdoor pool complex is not heated and was far too cold to swim in, in April, despite weather being sunny and mild. There is an indoor heated pool advertised, but it is more of a plunge pool in the spa, you have to book it in advance, and in any case the heating was not working when we were there. Also, the immediate area around the hotel is not nice. There is an adjacent small village which is all concrete and no charm and jam packed with cars and traffic, and the seaside area is not nice. I suppose if you do an all-inclusive package and don’t leave the hotel, this is not a concern, but if returning to Crete I would choose a hotel in a better, greener, more charming location, even if it requires a longer drive from Heraklion. As for our location, the Resort is situated in the village of Analipsi, just a 30-minute drive from Heraklion and Knossos. We are sorry that you didn’t find the village to your liking! Many of our guests enjoy the authentic and local feel of the village, however, we understand that it is a matter of personal preference! We also highly recommend a walk along the beach at sunset—it is a beautiful experience that many of our guests cherish. Furthermore, our location offers very easy access to many neighboring traditional villages and attractions. Regarding the pool temperature, while it is naturally affected by the surrounding weather conditions and ambient temperature, we understand that it may have not been at an ideal level during your stay. We also apologize for the temporary technical issue with the indoor heated pool, which has since been resolved. Regarding our All-Inclusive package, as you noted, we truly believe that it is an excellent option that significantly enhances our guests' experience, allowing them to fully relax and enjoy our facilities. While Crete is a vast and diverse island with so much to explore, it often requires more than one visit to truly discover all its hidden gems.     Stayed for a week in a great room over looking the pool. For most of the week we had breakfast in the wonderful La Parilla restaurant and then for dinner we ate buffet style in the Kimata. Great staff and a big shout out to June in Utopia, Mara in La Parilla and the drinks guy who worked the pool area.     Stella Island Crete is the most wonderful resort, we had an absolutely amazing time. The resort is out of this world and staff really do make everyone feel so welcome, they are so attentive and nothing is a bother, we were looked after so well by all the staff throughout the hotel a credit to the resort. The food was also amazing so much to offer with great ambience. We will definitely be returning to stay.
