Location

This hotel is located just 20 km to the east of Heraklion and the international airport. The hotel's small beach is just 10 m away, whilst the larger public sandy beach is 170 m from the hotel. Typical for the island of Crete, the small village of Analipsis is 700 m away, whilst cosmopolitan Hersonissos is 4 km from the hotel. The palace of Knossos is 25 km away.

Facility

277 non-smoking rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Rooms

A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. The resort offers a wide range of outdoor sports, including bocce, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball and crazy golf. For a fee, guests can also enjoy tennis. Water sports enthusiasts are offered water aerobics. The complex offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, badminton, darts, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and a beauty salon. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. All-inclusive can be booked. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    I don’t normally write reviews but we stayed here a couple of weeks ago for our family holiday and I can not fault the hotel, very friendly staff and all very good with our 3 children, food was nice, lots of different places to get food, nice pizza, we enjoyed lunch at the water park cafe the lady that worked there was very polite and accommodating, we also dined at the filmema restaurant which was lovely food! Beautiful location right on the beach with 2 beautiful churches outside. The cocktails were made up properly in nice glasses with all the garnish, entertainment was good for the kids, lots of lovely pools all around the complex to try, the water park was amazing and the kids loved it! Kids club was great you could go everyday 1-3pm for stay and play session with your child my 2 year old loved it! The cleaners also came in every day, replacing towels, making up beds, left fresh bottles of water! Very happy with our stay here

    Everything was great, the venue, the room, the park, the food, the entertainment. The staff were super accommodating to children and adults, very friendly. Olivia at the lobby bar was fantastic letting my 4 year old have a magical experience of making her favourite mocktail. Kudos going the extra mile 👌

    It was wonderful pools are great service is great cleanliness is great it’s beach front to shops are close by and car hire is close by the water park is amazing from small to old all is catered for we all loved it top ratings from us all we were a big family age raging from 1 yr old up to 60 yr olds ahd all mixed in between we went for a wedding they made it besutuful there are three parts to Stella holidays Stella palace Stella village and adults only can’t remember the name of that part as we didn’t need to visit that as a family holiday Stella palace is 5 * and Stella villiage is 4* you are allocated to certain pools and areas all share the ampi theatre with grest shows all allocated ice creams and treats through the day it’s all inclusive beautiful place staff are so accommodating to everything it was a marvelous holiday we loved every minute all were sad leaving one of our best times ever abroad we hope to visit again in future

    Positive, plus a few tips!

    We have just finished a week at Stella Village. There were always beds available by the many pools, the food was great and a selection for all. The pizzas were amazing too.Tips for anyone coming... The rooms did get a few bugs/mosquitos so do take something to try and keep them out. Try to familiarise yourself early as to which is stella village and which is stella palace. It isnt obvious and seems to intertwine but you cant get drinks at stella palace if your base is Village, and vice versa. Once you get used to it though, youll be fine.Finally, at meal times, you order your drinks as you sit. The drinks are a small cup and packed with ice, so order double as after one swig your drinks gone and they dont come around to offer another! And no self service. If there is one thing I would recommend to the Hotel, its that they put self serve soft drinks machines on, as a little sip of lemonade to last a meal isnt enough and itd take pressure off staff/queues.The staff are lovely, and no complaints at all. A brilliant stay all in all! Definitely would return.

    Warm Welcome, Great Food and Amazing Improvements

    We are regular guests at Stella Village, and yet every year we are still amazed by how warm and welcoming the staff always are. The facilities keep improving season after season, and the buffet offers a huge variety of delicious food.We recommend this hotel without any hesitation and we are already looking forward to coming back in a few months.A big thank you to the entire staff, and see you again very soon!
