    Fantastic hotel in a beautiful area! We arrived late night and were greeted by a bottle of water & plate of food in our room which we were incredibly greatful for! The room a support studio was perfect for the 2 of us with everything we needed. The food was lovely . Only a short walk in to platanias and the beach and easy to get a bus in to chania.The staff were all lovely , friendly and helpful and we were able to get a late check out.I recommend this hotel and would definitely come again.     A truly wonderful and first-class hotel in a great location. We stayed again for a week in the middle of summer and enjoyed every moment. The staff is very friendly and helpful and caring. They do their best to make your holiday a success.The food is very tasty and the hotel's many theme nights are really nice, which you want to join in. There are different tastes for every day and, best of all, wonderful local food.The rooms are bright and very clean.We warmly recommend this wonderful place to stay.     Nice Family Hotel

    Sunrise Village is situated in a quiet area of Platanias but is only a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants and just a few minutes more to the beach. The Hotel is a 3 star hotel so do not expect anything more. The rooms are good but basic and we benefited from a sea view (room 115). The pool area is clean and sunbeds are plentiful. The few issues i had was the food and the bar area. The food is ok but you do not have much choice. I struggled as i am vegan and i can usually get by with most hotels but with this one i struggled, Rice and sprouts was the option one night. There is no bar area so to speak so night time you went out as there was little to do in the hotel.My last gripe was the late check out, they charged 50 Euros which i found excessive. We would also like to point that some hotels also charge for the All-inclusive program after check-out time, but we do not apply this charge. We feel sorry if you still found the price high.
