  We had an amazing time at Sunset Suites. Very friendly people, nice and warm swimming pool. Room was big (4 persons). It is out dated , but clean. Close to the centre with lots of good restaurants and close to the beach. We would definitely recommend it as it is good price-quality

  Stayed with my family of 6 - 3 rooms - to sum it up = too may things wrong with this hotel - only thing good was the family that ran the bar by the poolDirty pool water - low and hard beds - kitchenette utensils limited - no safety railing for entering pool - TV not worth mentioning - friendly maids but bad cleaning -we have stayed at 2 more 3 star hotels in Crete and they were far better than this one

  My family and I stayed here for 12 days in July/August of 2022, and while we were sad to be leaving Crete, we were happy to be leaving this hotel! 1. For the majority of the time we stayed, the pool was disgusting, the water so cloudy you could barely see the bottom. They only switched the filtration on once, for a few hours. As soon as the water was almost clear, they turned it right off and it stayed off the rest of the time we were there. When we confronted the owner, he blamed sunscreen and said there was nothing to be done.The sunbed area was also cramped, and not quite enough sunbeds for all the guests.2. The beds are horrible. The bed was so low it barely reached my knees, and the mattress was hard and extremely uncomfortable. My father has a bad knee and was in serious pain getting up out of the bed every morning as it was so low.3: The showers are so cramped I couldn't bend down to rinse my hair or shave my legs. 3. The maids were friendly but the cleaning was nothing special.4. There are almost no utensils in the 'kitchen' so cooking anything was a challenge.The only good thing about this hotel is the family that runs the pool bar, they are so friendly and amazing, the food is good and not expensive.I have stayed at other 3 star hotels in this area of Crete, and they were all vastly superior to this one!

  No luxury, but everything is clean and well cared for. The best service we have ever received. The family that runs the hotel, do everything to make your stay amazing. They are always happy and helpfull.our only - is the lack of cooking utensils and accessories in the kitchen if you want to cook your own food . Would highly recommend for families.

  We had an amazing family vacation here in Sunset Suites!!!Wonderful Hotel, amazing customer service, very clean and super friendly staffYou will not be disappointed when visiting beautiful CreteThe owners Kosta and Aspasia will take good care of you, they will help you in planning your excursions, car rentals and find amazing beachesSophie at breakfast station each morning is super friendly too!We had a incredible vacation and will be back for sure!!Thx for a great week!!
