  BEAUTIFUL, SECLUTED AND CHARMING BOUTIQUE HOTEL

  I have been to Terra Minoika from the 9th till the 14th July.I was there with my wife and my 12yo son.I have no words to describe the excellent stay we experienced in our 5 days at Terra Minoika.I need to mention the spectacular view from our room (Deluxe Suite) and the tasty breakfast.The room interior and the hotel in general are simply perfect!Thank youHope to see you again in the future!Kind regards from Leonardo, Silvia and Niccolò

  A Great Choice in Eastern Crete

  We were unsure what to expect when we drove out of Zakros village all the way down to the beach. The 7km sealed road is another Cretan stunner with fabulous views over the cobalt blue Libyan Sea. Apart from a handful of tavernas (right on the beach and providing excellent food and typical Cretan friendly service), the Zakros Palace ruins and the Zakros Gorge, there is very little else around so you do feel you are on the very remote eastern edge of the island. The villas themselves blend beautifully into the landscape and the natural stone and timber are very easy on the eye. The villas are very roomy, with private courtyards and/or balconies, and excellent breakfasts were included. It is a very professionally run family establishment with excellent amicable hosts, and ample car parking. All in all Terra Minoika is a classy establishment without being pretentious. We were virtually at the end of a 4 week self-driving holiday around Crete so a couple of relaxing, hassle-free days at Terra Minoika was very much appreciated.

  The superior sea view suite

  Terra Minoika is a jewel. We do not believe any other boutique resort on Crete could be so special for the view, kindness, proximity to lovely beaches, Minoan ruins, historic monastery and the incredible details found in the artistry and art objects that envelope the resort. We wish we had planned to stay at Terra Minoika for our entire Cretan holiday as the slow pace and natural beauty, simple tavernas with lovely food (and again, the kindness and welcome of the owners) is our idea of perfection.   We travelled to the east of the island and wanted to break the journey. So pleased we found this beautiful and stunning setting . Amazing design secluded but with luxury. Would recommend especially if you want peace quiet and tranquility. Friendly service breakfast fabulous. Tavernas in the bay really good. And view to eat brilliant

  OMG, simply The Best!

  If you adore Crete, have a vehicle, love Crete's remote and epic scenery and have a penchant for ancient sites, then this slice of heaven is for you. Previous reviewers have said it all so no need for me to repeat. Every superlative is true! We have been fortunate to stay in some incredible places over the years. I have to say that Terra Minoika has surpassed all. We stayed for 3 nights and, as we drove up the hill on our way out, I remember looking back at TM and the drop dead stunning view of little KZ, wistfully thinking that we may never return.
