    Very nice location, the town here is so quaint & lovely. The room was great, bed comfortable and I was in love with the plunge pool. Short walk to the beach & the restaurant next door was great. The breakfasts delivered to your room were so good & presentation was the cutest. Parking on-site which was great.

    Unforgettable Honeymoon Experience

    My wife and I stayed in the Unique Suite for 4 nights during our honeymoon. Everything about the Sand Suites was absolutely fantastic, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. The suite (the pool is even more amazing than pictures suggest) and location so close to the beautiful Almyros beach and short drive to Agios Nikolaos made this a wonderful stay. What really elevated our stay though was the incredibly helpful service from the staff. Dimitris was so thoughtful and attentive to our needs and truly elevated our experience not only at the hotel but throughout our adventures in Crete.     We stayed for a week in the unique suite. It is as spectacular as it looks on the pictures. The pool is massive for 2 people and the views are stunning. Everything is super clean and beautiful decorated. Breakfast being brought to your room every morning was delicious and enough food for lunch. The service was outstanding! Dimitris the manager couldn’t do enough for us and made our stay super special. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The lovely Mariana brought our breakfast with a smile every morning and again couldn’t do enough for us. You have a private path onto the beach but we just stayed in the room which honestly felt like paradise. Agios Nikolaos is a big town with lovely places to eat and drink only 5 mins in a taxi.     Just returned from a lovely week in the sand suites. We couldn’t fault our stay at all. The rooms were cleaned to very high standards every day. We had a bottle of wine in our fridge upon arrival. The staff are amazing. Dimitris the manager is outstanding at his job- always on hand when you need something and always goes the extra mile. It was my 30th birthday whilst we were away and I came back to our room with a cake on the table and rose petals on the bed. The housekeeping & breakfast girls are lovely & friendly too (I didn’t manage to get their names) but are fab.The overall suites are lovely and quiet, a very relaxing atmosphere with a walk way to the beach. Our plunge pool suite was good and had two balconies - one view of the mountains and another of the sea. We will definitely be returning in the future. We got engaged whilst in Crete so maybe be back for our honeymoon one day?! Thank you for an excellent stay.

    Perfect place to relax. Amazing sea view. Foot access to beach with some steps and there you are. Excellent international breakfast. Helpfull and discrete staff. Luxurious atmosphere and complete privacy. Even in October wonderful weather.
