    We had a very relaxing stay in a beautiful environment.We loved the quiet and nice location, close to the seafront, with a large swimming pool surrounded by greenery. Very kind staff, amazing breakfast with delicious Cretan specialities.

    Wonderful place and hosts. The appartment was perfect, the service and breakfast was also really good, there is a large swimming pool and a directly private access to the ocean. Agios Nikolaos is around 4km away, the landscape and area around really nice. Its for sure a recommendation.

    Vangelis Villas have amazing hosts. The villas are beautiful, comfortable, clean and have charm. The location is peaceful and yet easy to get into Agios Nikolaos. The local taxi service is excellent, on this occasion we had not hired a car. Despite that we were far from isolated and the days we went into town, hardly we waited more than five minutes. The rooms are excellently maintained and cleaned and one feels the owners pay great attention to detail. When I arrived there was a welcome plate of mixed fruit, fruit juice, water and milk in the fridge, plus tea and coffee, so body and soul was in no danger. I was also briefed well on local shopping personally by Mr. Vasilis. In any case the information pack in the villa was full of useful information and would have had some idea about Crete had I just landed from Mars. When I asked for a 'kanaka' as my wife drinks Greek coffee, rather than Instant, a traditional kettle was instantly provided. Olive oil shampoo and soap were also in the bathroom and plenty of clean towels. As soon as I arrived I felt comfortable and not that I was camping. The terrace outside afforded a view of the sea, the swimming pool and garden, so was a lovely breakfast location as well as a lovely spot for an evening sundowner. Will we come again? As with other guests who seem to be regulars mostly. By God's grace we hope so!

    Relaxing, Welcoming, Hidden Gem

    The owners welcomed us with a smile, fresh fruit and an amazing villa despite the lateness of our check in. We had a super week and despite there being other full apartments close by, we never saw or heard anyone. The pool was spotless, the loungers and shades new and comfortable and we also enjoyed snorkelling off their jetty. We experienced an amazing breakfast, losing track of all the new dishes that were brought out to us e.g. Greek yoghurt and honey, fresh fruit, cakes, bread, biscuits, omlettes ....... The location of the villa was brilliant, as we were close to Agios Nicholas, Golden Beach and we travelled to both the far east coast and south coast easily. We would love to return!
