  Only one night for a quick weekend in Rome but if I were to return more days I would choose this accommodation again!Located in Via Cavour 850 meters from Termini station and 200 meters from Cavour metro station, in a beautiful avenue with bars, restaurants and various shops convenient to quickly reach on foot or by public transport the main tourist sites of Rome.The owners are not always present at the reception but the structure is very safe, they will ask you for an arrival time to give you all the information for access to the structure if you arrive outside reception hours, I found them kind, helpful and very professional.The rooms are on the second floor of a building, spotless, renovated with comfortable bed, courtesy set, fridge and air conditioning. The breakfast room is self service but well stocked: coffee machine, tea, cappuccino.... fresh croissants and croissants, jam, biscuits, Nutella, milk even without lactose, yogurt, eggs, juices and more...I really recommend it so much for courtesy, cleanliness, location and value for money!!Thanks for everything!   We booked reservations and wanted to add an additional day to our stay, 9 days before arrival. When we tried to add an additional day, in there system, it canceled our entire reservation. I immediately emailed the hotel saying this was a mistake, it was the middle of the night in Italy and no one was answering my call. Then I received a message on the WhatsApp from David explaining to David what had happened. David indicated that we still had 2 reservations. I then asked David to send an additional confirmation showing our dates we were staying. David said in the WhatsApp message that "it's already confirmed you have both confirmation emails for the two bookings.The day before we were to stay I received a WhatsApp message saying we only had one reservation and the one reservation was going to be canceled. With no explanation as to why it would be canceled. I tried to explain showing the actual texts from David that the reservation was for 4 nights not one, but was told it was my mistake, even after furnishing evidence to the contrary. David also said in a messages to his associate "you got it wrong edit and they booked right after."At the last moment we were forced to find new lodging in a foreign city 5000 miles from home.We were very upset with good cause. If you value your vacation and travels find reputable lodging.Hotel re Monti guesthouse is not a business of ethical business practices.

  Absolute great value for the money. The location was perfect. Once you exit termini station, head left and go about 8 minutes down Via Cavour Street. It's really easy to find. There is a great pasta place directly across the street. It just says pizza and pasta over the door, but we ate there twice for lunch and was delicious. Also, 1min up from it is a little mini mart we frequented every night for snacks and drinks. Oh, and a bar of soap. We had room #6, which is a queen bed with twin bunk beds. My teenage girls liked having their own bed. The room was super clean. Breakfast in the morning is self-serve, which we liked. They had pastries, coffee/cappuccino machine, milk/chocomilk, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, corn flakes cereal, toast and cheese. Good breakfast to start a long day of walking. Talking about walking, it takes 8 mins to get to the colosseum, 15 minutes to trevi fountain, 20 minutes to Pantheon, about 40 minutes to Vatican City. The day we visited vatican City, we took the metro there, and it was a 10-minute walk to it. Then, we walked back to the hotel. Plus, we wanted to see more of Rome. We stayed 3 nights in Florence for the price of 4 nights here, and this place was way better. Would stay here again easily.

  Great value for your money and time

  The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. The interiors fresh as it was newly renovated. A few minutes walk to the Colosseum and Termini station, plus the proximity to the metro station , grocery store, pizzeria and basically all you need in your Italian trip.   Me and my wife stay at Rome for 3 night .. Very clean and we’re lucky it’s just recently renovated .. it’s all good experience.. it’s near the termini station .. perfect spot to go around nearby tourist spot ..
