    Very friendly and relaxed, rooms were spacious, and clean, with cleaning taking place regularly with fresh sheets and towels, just a 1 minute walk to the supermarkets, bars, and restaurants, a 4 minute walk walk to the beach, with fantastic sand and clear water, just a 10 min walk to the hustle and bustle of Malia centre. Great location, quiet, but with everything close by and within walking distance! Panos was a great host, and happy to help! We will be returning! Lee & Ewa

    After visiting this business in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 with no complaints, I am sad to say that this year's experience was dreadful! We booked this holiday in September 2024, less than 2 weeks after returning from our fourth visit. The owner, who had always been very friendly and accommodating in the past, assured us that he would book us into the room that we requested, that being our favourite from when we had stayed in the past. We looked forward to our holiday for almost a year, but when we arrived we found we had been placed in a room that was on the opposite side of the complex, first floor instead of ground floor and not at all what we had expected.The tap in the bathroom was not secured correctly and although we reported this on our first day and were told it would be fixed "tomorrow", it remain the same way throughout our stay. The shower was permanently cold. We were told that there was a new kitchen installed. Well, the only item other than the fridge was a kettle! Pot noodles for all then?!I have to say that Ana is a lovely lady who works very hard and the rooms were cleaned regularly, with fresh bedding and towels. Similarly, Manos manned the bar during the afternoon when the owner was sleeping. After 8pm it was pot luck as to whether there would be anyone around to serve drinks. Even when the owner was there and we asked for a drink we were told "in a minute" whilst he was on his mobile phone or watching football on the big screen tv. On one occasion he said we would have to wait because he wanted to go to the shop first! His attitude towards us was often belligerent and disrespectful, to the point where he turned up at a restaurant where we were eating one evening, invited himself to join us at our table and proceeded to bait us into an argument!Suffice it to say that we will not be visiting Villa Diasselo in the future and I would caution anyone thinking of booking here to do so with low expectations.

    3rd time visiting, i LOVE this place!Can’t praise the owner, Panos enough and the hard working Ana!Amazing location. Close to the beach, shops, tavernas. Lovely clean spacious rooms. Private pool and bar area too!10/10 and 5* all round!!!Already booked to return this September!

    2nd time visiting. Unbelievable again! Cannot recommend enough. Great location, lovely rooms, bar area and swimming pool. Perfect location! Panos the Owner is so friendly and goes above and beyond for all guests! Anna does an amazing job leaving the rooms immaculate. Also shout out to the young boys Manos and Mike on the bar!!!Absolutely perfect for families, couples, friends etc. perfect quiet villa still so close to shops, supermarkets, restaurants, the beach, everything you need! Lovely bar area stocked with beers, water and soft drinks. The breakfast is fab, toasties, omelettes etc cooked to order. 10/10!!! 5******

    This is our 4th year coming to Villa Diasselo. Honestly would not stay anywhere else. Always a very warm welcome from Panos. The rooms are spotless and cleaned regularly by Anna. There's always a friendly atmosphere and lots of laughs and banter. The pool is amazing! Other staff, Manos and Mike are lovely young men who work hard and very respectful. Highly recommended always. 🥰
