    Just returned from Achtis Hotel, Afytos, excellent facilities provided, beautiful decor throughout, clean and beautiful rooms. Excellent menu choice throughout our week stay, some of Greeks traditional foods, cooked by a very professional chef.Great friendly atmosphere in the beautiful bar, great cocktail selection served by lovely staff. We think we have found a little gem for future returns x

    We love this hotel and have visited on 3 occasions and never been disappointed with the facilities, food and drink and service. The Management cascade down the great ethos of caring for all guests, making you so so welcome. The staff are pretty much the same individuals, so there is a continuity of care, most of whom know your names. The grounds have been further enhanced each visit, the "garden" area this time with new paths etc. The fauna remains, pond areas where the big, medium and smaller koy carp, frog corus reside, regular patrols by Kevin the peacock and his paramour Penelope. The meals are great, another new addition is an open bread oven and a buffet style servery for evening meal. We will, of course, look forward to visit #4.

    Again a very warm welcome on arrival from all, on our 2nd visit to Achtis Hotel in the lovely village of Afitos.The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the centre of the village.The rooms are very nice, superb pool and sun beds with the added luxury of a secluded garden area if preferred to sunbathe.The breakfast is superb, A wide selection of breakfast choices also available. My favourite being the strawberry Greek yoghurt.After a large breakfast we only had salads for lunch both the Greek salads and the alternative salads are highly recommended.Evening meals were very very nice with a good choice and excellent presentation.After meals we usually visited the new built bar facility for a couple of drinks. Soft music with a very welcoming atmosphere.To conclude 5 out of 5 for the Achtis Hotel. Like ourselves many many guests return.

    We first came here for our wedding anniversary 17 years ago, and were amazed we were remembered, The achtis was lovely then and even better now, from the beautiful rooms, to the fabulous stone bar, the food is lovely, and the wonderful staff can't do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, and make you feel like family, thoroughly recommend this relaxing little oasis. And love the peacocks ♥️

    Myself and partner stayed at the for 'Achtis' for seven days, I really wish that it was longer, this was our first ever visit to the hotel, and from what we picked up on during our stay was, several other couples had already visited previously, making a return for more of the same, which told us this was going to be a quality experience.Within minutes of our arrival we were greeted with a glass of fizz and a slice of cake, which was appreciated after hours of travelling.The room was clean, with a balcony over looking the grounds and swimming pool.We paid half board, with breakfast and evening meal, the meals were extremely variant throughout our stay, a word of advice, make sure you don't miss out on the lamb, extremely tasty.The bar on an evening was chilled with ambient sounds chosen by Achilles the dj and owner of the complex, infact we chose to stay at the hotel bar all week during the evenings, which was surprisingly cheaper than the bars in town, we made good of the cheap cocktails also.The grounds were phenomenal, as an avid gardener, I totally appreciated the grounds, coi carp, noisy frogs (apparently breeding season was coming up) and the two resident peacocks, it was stunning. The staff, wow!! Its sounds somewhat cliche when I say that the staff really did/do wait on you, hand and foot. From walking around the complex and informing you about the construction of the gardens, which obviously I found interesting, to showing you the the evenings meals.Also, how could I forget, it was my partners birthday, and she was blown away by the birthday card from the staff, birthday cake and a glass of champagne. We were lost for words.And we were heartbroken leaving, we made friends and most of all we created some amazing memories, an absolutely flawless experience. *****
