  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable stay with exceptional hospitality

  Our stay at Akrogiali Exclusive Hotel was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Polychrono.What makes this place special is not only the hotel itself but the wonderful people behind it. Lazaros and Irina are exceptionally professional, friendly, and welcoming hosts who make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. We also have to mention Bobo, their adorable dog, who quickly became a favorite part of our stay.The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect for relaxation. Everything is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and cared for with great attention to detail. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant holiday. It was cleaned every day and always kept in perfect condition.The breakfast deserves special praise. The Greek yogurt and feta cheese were absolutely delicious. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and eggs prepared exactly to your taste made every morning a pleasure. The quality of the food and the attention to detail were outstanding.Akrogiali Exclusive Hotel offers much more than accommodation—it provides a warm, personal experience that makes guests feel genuinely welcome. We leave with wonderful memories and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Polychrono.Thank you, Lazaros, Irina, and Bobo, for making our stay so special.   What a lovely holiday we had. Lazarus and Irina were so kind and welcoming, and so hardworking …. they deserve every success. The hotel is ideally situated only minutes from the sea. Excellent breakfasts and dinners (cooked by Lazarus). Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you. Would love to return.

  What we liked:1. Very gracious hosts. The owners Lazaros and Irina work hard and have extended us a warm welcome. This makes all the difference and is one of their key selling points. This is what comes to mind after you go away. You actually feel more like staying in someone's home than a hotel.2. Cleanliness. Nice fragrance when you enter the lobby. Aseptic hall. The room was almost spotless, Mrs Ellada (the cleaning lady) did an excellent job. The room was not very large, but the sleeping area was separated from the luggage area and the wardrobe in the entrance hall. Smallish bathroom with a nice walk-in shower and ventilation. Change of towels and sheets each other day.3. Air conditioning. Daikin, this is the Rolls-Royce of A/C, as Lazaros says :-). Essential piece of equipment, even during the first week of June, you would probably not be able to sleep without it. Very powerful when you need to quickly cool down the room, whereas at night you can turn it down to a breeze.4. Clean, fresh, no-nonsense food. We had a half-board package, each evening based on fish or occasional seafood, which we did not mind for a one-week stay. That said, some guests would probably welcome more variation (I believe the a la carte menu included some pork and chicken). But you do have to consider that owner Lazaros does the cooking himself, and does a lot of running around, sometimes single-handed or with little help.5. Quieteness. Though just 100 meters away from the beach, the hotel is located on a narrow one-way lane with virtually no car traffic other than occasional merchants. Polychrono is buzzing during the day (and was pretty crowded even in June), but becomes a tranquil place in the evening with very little to do other than dine somewhere else, take a stroll along the seaside, have an icecream, or browse a few local shops. Nothing really to write home about, and after a few days you might need a change. But we did like there were no kids.Not that much:1. Breakfast was basic, decent, but rather stingy. Just a bit more choice (and of bit more of anything, as a matter of fact) would be welcome, indeed.2. Access. Narrow streets, especially on the way leading the property. I guess this is common in small Greek towns like this. The property has a parking nearby (about 10 places), which provides sufficient room if the other guests behave.3. No international TV channels.

  The hotel is small 20 guests. It was quiet and peaceful. The fact that you can have breakfast outside in the open was charming. It gives you the space you need. Clean white table covers every time. Flowers and green trees around you. The staff smiled and polite. Natural food.The rooms were cleaned every day. Comfy mattress. It is the best place around!

  Very good place. Service, food, cleanliness are at an excellent level. The owner of the hotel cooks in the restaurant, very tasty. The hotel is small, new and cozy, located is near in the city center. I was fascinated. I will come back again. :) ❤️
