Location

This hotel is located just some 20 metres from the beach and around 80 metres from the town centre. The bus station is a 10-minute walk away and it is 10 minutes by car to the Petralova Cave and 15 minutes to the Mediterranean Cosmos Centre. It is set in the Nea Kallikrateia area, an ideal destination since it is only 35 km from the city of Thessaloniki in the western part of the Halkidiki Peninsula, and 90 minutes' drive from Mount Athos. Thessaloniki Airport is approximately 35 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 4-storey building with a lift and 41 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     The best hotel we have stayed at during our trip to Europe. We were treated like family and felt welcomed by the amazing and extremely friendly staff- Deanna, Natalia, Olympia and Vania. They were more like friends than staff, eager to chat and cater to our needs. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and varied each day. The hotel lobby and outdoor seating were elegant and relaxing. The rooms were roomy and the balcony an added bonus. The rooms were cleaned daily by the friendly house keeping staff. Location was perfect, a minutes walk to the Main Street, restaurants and beach. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. We will have fond memories of our stay here and hopefully return in the future.

    This the best Greek hotel I have stayed in. Firstly, the position of the hotel is excellent. It takes you only a minute or two to get to the beach, and 3 to 4 minutes to get to the main square of the town. Secondly, the rooms are well equipped, the furniture is new and fine, the bathroom is also new. This is almost the first time that I could leave a Greek bathroom with my feet dry :) The rooms are cleaned properly daily, they changed the towels daily as well (even the clean towels), and they changed the sheets two or three times). We stayed in the room at the top floor (5th), it is bigger than other rooms and it has a spacious balcony with sea view. The breakfast is excellent!!!Then the staff is extremely kind.

    We had a wonderful stay here. The staff are very nice and helpful. You will meet alot of people from all over. The rooms are clean and efficient..breakfast is enough to take you way in to lunch time with the . I really enjoyed the location to the beach and the center of the town all with in walking distance. The only down side is the wifi is not the strongest and goes out alot.. it could have been because of of room location.. it does come with your room so it's not extra like other places we had visited. For your visit and definitely for those of us who budget travel you can not beat the Alkyonis Hotel.

    Alkyonis HotelGreat location, in 2 minutes you are at the seaside or in a city center. Comfy and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Lavishing breakfast in the morning with a very decent selection and very good Greek coffee.The room was comfortable with a nice bathroom and a spacious panoramic balcony with a view of the sea as well as the whole of Nea KallikratiaThe room is equipped with air conditioning, a mini bar and a small flat TV as well as a safe (usage is charged 1 € per day)Cute pool good enough for occasional usage. Parking is provided, but that's just free public space in front of the hotel. There is also an elevator in the hotel.Service with the smiles on faces and you feel like part of the family. A special greeting for all ladies from the reception.The hotel has two stars, but we felt better than in some of the much larger ranks

    We enjoyed a pleasant holiday in a hotel with excellent service. Daily cleaning of the room, a rich breakfast with a wide selection of dishes and friendly staff. The hotel is situated close to a nice beach. We had no negative experiences.
