  Fantastic stay with special people

  As a couple of 60 somethings we don’t actually normally leave reviews but felt that this was essential from the moment we arrived late on the 2nd June yes we are here now until Friday 12th we have been treated like VIPs the complex is large made up of 2 sites Anna Island and Anna Family we are staying at Family but have access to Island adults only the place feels like a lovely country pub with a very warm atmosphere the owners are always on site they are exceptional people so is there son the staff which there are many are very attentive the food has been excellent we have spoken to many people who have stayed here before and have said the same we just want to let people know this is a very special place with very special people to all the staff and owners Many Thanks for making this stay one of the best holidays we have taken and will be recommending to family and friends Best Wishes Paul and Yvonne

  Another fantastic holiday!

  This is our third visit to Anna Hotel and once again had the BEST time. We brought friends with us this year and they also absolutely loved it. Food was good, entertainment was good, cocktails amazing but the thing that makes it the most special are the wonderful staff. Franco round the pool is the kindest man you could ever meet, Adrian, Kostas, Petros, Anna and all the girls working in the bar and restaurant are just lovely,lovely people. See you all again next year guys.   3* hotel - best suited to families

  Our room was very cramped, not like the photos on the Internet, air con was good, soundproofing was reasonable, bed was firm. Not really enough storage to unpack totally or to put 2 suitcases away. Water pressure for the shower was excellent but the shower head was a bit knackered and water came out the side, not the holes. Water got DANGEROUSLY hot, not good for elderly or children. I was in the shower and there was a 5 minute power cut, the water went off, unfortunately I had shampoo suds in my hair. Showering causes bathroom floor to flood, no matter how careful you are.Breakfast was very good but hot food not quite hot enough, juice is more like cheap squash, coffee is self service from a machine but I quite liked it. Next to the cups in the restaurant and in the rooms are plastic teaspoons in plastic wrappers ! I found this really odd and environmentally sad. Evening meals were not a pleasant event, noisy restaurant, layout isn't great, queuing people block the entrance, food wasn't hot enough, plates weren't hot but we did find dishes that we both liked. Staff were very slow to take drink orders and clear tables, your starter plate would often still be on the table when you were eating dessert. Staff not looking at the floor, only the tables. A few times I picked up cutlery or the plastic teaspoon wrappers from the floor as they are a trip hazard. The pools are amazing, guests mess them up though with numerous abondonded inflatables and by putting towels on loungers but not using them. The adults only pool was not clearly sign posted, without it I would have struggled to enjoy my holiday, yes it's half term and there were a LOT of kids with parents who have little regards for other guests next time I would book an adults only holiday.Pefkochori has little character, I would not recommend it but the beach was nice enough.Hotel entertainment was disappointing and the bar was not a nice place to be, all grey fixtures and roof, hotel are generous with free Ouzo shots but drinking lots is not to everyone's liking.   10/10 exsperiance beautiful hotel so friendly family inordinated vibes was vibing, 5 min walk from beach and old town.   Hi wonderful hotel but what a quandary either designed for young couples or older ones. All upper floors have steep steps and no handrail and the worse bit is the constant pool music non stop from 10.00. I would have eaten and drunk more at the pool bar but not with that din in the background.. Could there not be a quiet area or stop the music for a couple of hours so people could converse while having lunch.Hey ho back to our room with the rope ladder and change my ear plugs.
