Location

The resort is situated in a panoramic location in Nea Potidea in Halkidiki, an area that combines green scenery with the crystal-blue colour of the sea. It provides an optimal location as it offers easy access to the beautiful beaches of the Thermaic Gulf and Toronaios in a multi-cultural environment, very close to the 6.5-acre Natura region with its aquatic birds and hiking trails. Located between the Gulf of Cassandra and Thermaikos, the hotel is 55 km from Thessaloniki International Airport and 65 km from Thessaloniki's city centre.

Facility

The resort was modernised in 2025. In addition to a villa/house, guests can also choose from a selection of 172 rooms, including 14 junior suites, 30 suites and 119 double rooms. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a currency exchange service and a cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge (subject to availability). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service (on request and for a fee), a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, translation services, 24-hour room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a page service and a hotel doctor. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. A business centre with projector and a flip chart and pens is available. The congress service offers support with all aspects of event organisation.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A welcome gift awaits guests. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds and children's beds are available at no extra charge upon request. There is also a safe and a desk or, for an additional fee, a minibar. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, satellite television, a CD player, a DVD player, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. A selection of pillows ensures a comfortable stay. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub, a whirlpool bath and a baby bath. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and background music. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. A variety of activities are available at the resort, for example tennis, bocce, beach volleyball and volleyball or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking and paddle tennis. Water sports available at the resort include water aerobics, and also, for an additional fee, diving. The resort offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, callisthenics, aerobics and pilates or, for a fee, yoga. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon, massage treatments, anti-ageing treatments and aromatherapy and, for an additional fee, spa treatments, hydrotherapy treatments, thalassotherapy treatments, Ayurveda treatments, cellulite treatment, fango treatments, a reflexology massage and a hydrojet massage. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a bar and a lobby bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, halal food, kosher food, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. Baby food is available (on request, free of charge). The resort also offers snacks. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. For a fee, there are also non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages and international brands.

    The room was cleaned on a daily basis, no complains about food, staff or beach. Unfortunately, some guests are doing a lot of noise in the middle of the night (the hotel cannot educate them).     Excellent experience. Fantastic beach and pools, exceptional spa, great food, wonderful attentive and kind staff (thank you Chrysa from the pool bar!).     Hotel “Pomegranate” is definitely not a 5-star hotel — at best it deserves 1 star. The service is ridiculous, the room is poor, and we were shocked by the cleanliness and the overall beach experience. In a so-called 5-star hotel, you put your towel on a sunbed, someone comes, removes it and takes your spot, and then you are told, “Sorry, everything is full, there’s no place for you.” Paying €550 per night and still having no sunbed available is unacceptable. The room itself feels more like a 2-star standard. Housekeepers entered while I was sleeping and even while I was showering — there was absolutely no privacy for me and my husband. The buffet food is decent, maybe 4-star quality, but everything else is just unprofessional. This ruined a long-awaited vacation we truly needed. Don’t trust the many positive reviews as we unfortunately did. Out of all the places we’ve visited worldwide, this has been the worst experience so far.     We have all that we need it. Best service, twice in a day they change towels and clean the room! We made snorkeling and saw many fish and an octopus. We love it tha Georgian party with a famous singer from Georgia.
