  Stayed at porfi beach hotel in September.Bathroom : cleaned daily , fresh towels daily .large bathroom but very outdated and the smell from the drains some days was awful.Bedroom : Again good size double wardrobe with hangers bedside cabinets and desk/ makeup dresser with mirror.Cleaned daily , clean bedsheets every other.Again adequate but very dated.SEVERE LACK OF PLUG SOCKETSFridge:Gets far to hot .and very dated..Balcony : Good sized balcony nice view of well kept garden.It would have been nice to have a kettle with tea/coffee making facilities but unfortunately there where non.Breakfast : very very limited not enough choice for us.Ala carte :Mmmmm not great not enough variety for us lacked greek food.Resturant :Costas the main man made us very welcome , we ate there most evenings as not much choice locally.but again limited menu.BarAll the staff here where great thankyou eleni . it's a shame but not very many people used it .Pool :Pool area kept very clean .BeachBeach area was great but sunbeds outdated .Over all the staff where great they all work very hard ,it's a shame the food let it down for us.

  This hotel is stunning. The staff and hotel manager are top tier. Polite, attentive and make you feel welcome.You have a private beach and a pool. Food is fantastic, and some nights have events. We always come to this hotel when in this region of Greece.

  Two wonderful holidays at Porfi Beach Hotel

  This is the second consecutive year that I have been to the Porfi Beach Hotel and just like last year, this time everything was wonderful!l!! The staff was very kind and helpful. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good, the hotel garden and beach are superb. Cleaning was done daily, and the linen was changed every 2-3 days. The sun loungers on the beach were free.Excellent price/quality ratio! Congratulations to the entire team!!!!

  Hotel lovely, Staff friendly, a few more renovations of the rooms and it would be perfect

  This is a lovely hotel, the staff are lovely and attentive and the general look and feel of the hotel fits in well with the area. It's approximately a 30-40 mins walk into the nearest village Nikiti and lovely beaches surround the hotel.Breakfast is included as standard and covers cooked and continental and half board is available too. The tourist tax per day at present is €3 a day The area sits in the Halkadiki/Sithonia coast line and is half way between Nikiti and Metamofosi and the trips available are brilliant. Porfi Beach lies half way between where most trips operate. I would suggest carrying a torch to see at night along some of the roads as they are not very well lit, but the area is very much safe. There is a taxi service at the top of the hill at Nikiti next to the crossroads but only one or two taxis operate from here. There is a large number of cafes and restaurants on the coast of Nikiti near to the marina. These operate mainly between April 1st through to the end of September before they close for the winter.I hope this helps anyone looking into this area.

  Don’t recommend and wouldn’t return

  We had a very poor experience at this hotel, we will definitely not recommend it and we will definitely not return. This is a hotel for a very low budget holiday. We stayed there during a bad heatwave (40 Celsius constantly) which made our stay even more unpleasant. I booked directly with the hotel and the price we paid was seriously overpriced. I had specifically asked for a REFURBISHED family suite with 2 bathrooms and I got a room that smelled of damp and was in dire need of refurbishment. - bathrooms: The top bathroom didn’t work at all: the toilet flush didn’t work and the shower was just a tap and a shower head fixed to the wall, right next to the loo without a shower tray or a shower curtain- photo attached. You had to bend your head and shoulders to even stand in there and, if you were brave enough to use the shower, the whole bathroom and loft would flood. - mattresses very hard and very uncomfortable- fridge not functioning properly so I didn’t risk it, only for water - no air-con at the reception area (I felt so sorry for the poor receptionists who had to work at 40 degrees heat with no aircon) - fans very old and inadequate - breakfast area again no air-con, felt like walking into an oven - quality of breakfast very poor- if it was too hot to even sit in the breakfast area, can you imagine the working conditions of the hotel staff in the kitchen? - swimming pool had to be vacated by 7pm but we didn’t use it, as there was definitely a hygiene issue with babies and younger kids plus the overflow pool drain smelled very badly- tons of mosquitoes everywhere On a positive note, the staff was very helpfuland lovely, especially the young boy (Vasilis) who would provide beach service in a heatwave. The room was cleaned thoroughly and the cleaning ladies were very polite but the family suite was sooo old, I don’t think anyone could get rid of the foul smell. The location of the hotel is good as it is on the beachfront and near some local villages. It is a shame that the hotel owners don’t seem to invest in their own business and I am upset with myself for not complaining to reception every single day and only complaining at the very end. It’s not worth to spend your precious annual leave in such a poorly maintained hotel.
