The resort is situated in a quiet, unspoiled location overlooking the breathtaking Mylopotas beach. The island offers the opportunity to visit relaxing places like Manganari beach which is 25 km away and cultural places such as the famous Homer's Tomb located 15 min away by car. Links to the public transport network are roughly 50 m from the resort.

    We recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Dionysos resort and having our wedding reception at the Almyra restaurant. Having spent 10 nights of pure bliss at this hotel I cannot recommend it enough to anyone considering staying!The room was immaculate, modern and spacious. We were pleasantly surprised by the extras included in the room too like, iron and board, hairdryer, hangers ect. The staff were amazing. We were treated like royalty by everyone there. Nothing was ever too much to ask and everyone said hello as they walked past. They were all professional but so friendly, charming and kind to my two kids too. The swimming pool was always kept super clean and the kids size pool is the perfect size and depth for them to have fun without us having to worry about them being in danger. The food in the restaurant was also served quickly, fresh and tasty. It was one of the best places to each along Mylopotas beach for sure! The portion sizes were big, rich and filling. The breakfast that was included was also fully stocked each morning with a huge variety of food ranging from pastries to hot cooked sausage and egg. The staff were quick to clean plates when we were finished and the resturant was always kept clean and orderly.Maria the manager was incredible. She had so many surprises and upgrades for us when we arrived. Nothing was an issue. The wedding day ran flawlessly. We couldnt have imagined a better base for wedding and holiday. When we arrived on the first day, I had happy tears just because of how amazing everything was!Ios as an island is absolutely beautiful, worth the extra ferry over from Santorini and Almyra and Dionysos was the gem that you need to look for there. Maria and the team make it so ??

    great place, stayed here in July, nice spot on beach, free loungers, beach service. Room was immaculate and beatiful, Bus just outside to port and old town every 15 min.The staff here are amazing, top level service I have only seen at high end resorts.

    Our second visit to Dionysos seaside resort, this time with two teenagers, did not disappoint! What makes this resort so perfect? The people, the location (Mylopotas beach ????), the resort itself. Everyone we met was genuinely so friendly and made our stay so memorable - Maria (the manager) is wonderful and obviously hires great people, many of whom have worked there for 10+, even 20 years! The food at the onsite restaurant, Almyra, is great and good value. Lovely Cycladic wines too. The included breakfast buffet overlooking Mylopotas beach is a wonderful experience.Bedrooms are nicely appointed, tasteful - simple in a spa like way … with AC! A great nights sleep after a hard day of swimming and beach lounging!Our entire family was very sad to leave; we’ll be back!!

    My husband and l had the fortune of staying at this beautiful run Greek hotel for 5 nights in September.The location is perfect,nestled directly behind the gorgeous sandy Mylopotas Beach.The hotels design and landscaped gardens are stunning.Ambient lighting,pretty shrubs and flowers.The front of house staff were a delight,as were all the waiters,waitresses and beach staff.Nothing is too much trouble.The breakfast was agreeable the best we have ever experienced in the Mediterranean.The pools were stunning and surrounded by comfortable lounging areas.There are several tavernas along the beach that cater for all tastes.Enjoy Italian,Greek and Thai meals out..Chora is 15 minutes away and the port.Both charming places to mooch around.Will definitely plan to return soon to this fantastic hotel.Highly recommended.

    This hotel exceeded all my expectations of how amazing it would be, the grounds are absolutely flawless and the staff couldn’t be more attentive.We were handed a voucher for 2 x free cocktails on arrival and a free upgrade to a room with our own pool.Everything was perfect and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.
