Arrived at our hotel with the transferRoom was upgraded and had a lovely views !Stunning place, very peaceful and quiet.Lovely atmosphere Food was delicious and massive portions you could share most meals on the menu.2 pools the main and the rooftop pool,So close to everything walkable to beach as on the beach and to the shops and the restaurants . Bus was easy to useTaxis were reliable and good.The only issue we had was the last day building work next to us but the manager rectified it and sent a bottle for the inconvenience Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Nice mountainside resort on Mylopotas Beach.

Beautifully situated hotel on the mountainside of Mylopotas Beach. While the rooms are a little aged, they are relatively clean, comfortable and have great views of the bay. Contrary to the rooms, the public areas have likely been renovated and are very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant service are very good and the breakfast buffet is excellent. Staff are very friendly and attentive. You can take the pool towels down to the beach (2 minute walk) where you'll find a variety of bars and restaurants. They offer free shuttle service to the port too.

A Wonderful Stay at Ios Palace – Perfect for a Special Occasion

We stayed at Ios Palace for 4 days in September 2025 and had a truly memorable experience. From the moment I started communicating with the hotel via email before our arrival, I was impressed by how responsive and helpful the staff were.The location is fantastic—just a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach, which made everything very convenient. I was a bit concerned about the number of stairs at the property, but we were given Room #101 on the first floor, which was perfect and easy to access from the lobby.Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and housekeeping came by daily to keep everything fresh and tidy. Since we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, the hotel kindly upgraded us. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a fruit basket, and a lovely handwritten note—such a thoughtful gesture!Room 101 is large and ideal for a family. It has one queen-size bed and 2 large sofa beds in the separate living room, and a stunning large balcony complete with a table, chairs, loungers, and a magnificent sea view. We spent a lot of time just relaxing and soaking in the scenery. The room didn't have a kettle, which would have been nice for making a cup of tea in the morning. Oddly, there were no tissues in the room either. An extra dresser would also be helpful, as drawer space was limited. There was a lack of coat-hangers as well.The pool area is beautiful, a great spot to unwind. We arrived by ferry, and the hotel arranged for their driver to pick us up, which was very convenient.The bus to Chora town is a short walk from this hotel. Breakfast was included and felt quite fancy, with a wide selection. However, my only small complaint would be that there isn't a self-serve coffee and tea station—you have to ask the wait staff for hot drinks. One helpful tip: Ask the front desk to make restaurant reservations for you in advance. The popular spots in Ios get quite busy in September, and many don’t answer their phones or accept same-day reservation changes.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Ios Palace—especially for a special occasion.

We only stayed one night at Ios Palace, but it was truly an unforgettable experience for me, my wife, and our son. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived – the hotel is spotless, beautifully designed, and located right next to the beach.The food was fresh, delicious, and served with care. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is relaxed and welcoming.We stayed in one of the luxury villas, and it felt like a little piece of paradise. If you’re considering booking, we absolutely recommend paying a little more to enjoy this heavenly experience – it’s more than worth it!And finally, the staff… just amazing. Everyone was so warm, friendly, and always smiling. They made us feel special, even though we were only there for a short stay.Thank you, Ios Palace, for such a memorable visit!

I can only give this hotel three stars, which is a real shame as the location is absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, our classic room was very tired, grubby-looking, and in need of some TLC. On arrival, we were given minimal information — just where breakfast, the pool, and the bar were — and it felt like we were being rushed to our room, perhaps because we arrived late after the ferry.During our three-night stay, no one from the staff checked in to ask how our stay was going or if we needed anything. The lack of customer service was very noticeable. The WiFi was also unreliable to the point of being unusable.I didn’t raise these issues while there, as no one asked us and it didn’t feel like the opportunity was given. Sadly, I won’t be returning, and I will also be sharing this feedback with Trailfinders in the UK, who recommended this property.
