The good and not so good.

The hotel itself is well presented, the cleanliness of the room is immaculate. Air conditioning was great. The lady who owns the hotel was really nice and helpful. The negative side was the breakfast which let the hotel down, the kitchen staff were not very friendly and was prepared i would say in the bottom area of the hotel which looked more like a basement. One day the milk had gone off and they weren’t happy that was highlighted. The man on the reception was not friendly nor helpful or approachable. When asked if we could upgrade to a sea view the answer was just No that was it. The shower head in the room was also spraying water all over the floor which was also reported but nothing was done. Very dangerous as my husband had to use 3 bath mats to soak up after every shower.

Another great stay.

Another visit to this friendly, family run hotel. I had booked a city view room as my daughter and I were only in Argostoli for one night, but we were very happy to find that we had been given a sea view room with two beds (large double and single). Everything in our room was beautifully clean. The balcony made a comfortable spot to watch the cruise ship passengers hurrying back to the ship at the end of the afternoon. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. The only downside was that I wish we had been staying for at least one more night! Looking forward to our next visit.

Our second stay at Hotel Aggelos and we were not disappointed. Upgraded to a sea view room where we enjoyed watching the cruise ships arrive/depart. Hotel staff and family in this family run hotel cannot be faulted. Plenty of choice at breakfast which you can eat in the lovely breakfast room or on the terrace. Rooms cleaned twice a day and everything is spotless. I would not stay anywhere else in Argostoli. The hotel is at a quiet end of the city but within 5/10 minutes walking distance of the square and shops. Thank you for a lovely 3 night stay at the end of our Kefalonia holiday. Look forward to seeing you again.
