  Bit of a mixed bag really though good on the whole. The food nothing remarkable and not hot but you can order a bespoke omelette at breakfast with whatever added ingredients are available (Cheese Mushrooms ETC). The rooms very clean, though the bathroom fittings were a bit rusty and bathroom door beginning to come apart at the bottom, not what I would expect at a five star hotel. Staff generally friendly especially the cleaners. The bar staff perhaps not so friendly and will greet you with "Room number" when ordering anything. A "Good evening" or "Kalispera" before Room number would have been nice. When ordering drinks in the evening you will be presented with your drinks bill towards the end of your meal. On one occasion when wishing to leave I approached the bar area for my bill. A member of staff kept repeating where's your bill, eventually he understood I had not received one and said what have you had? ,the conversation throughout was without an apology he seemed irritated with no eye contact. To be fair I brought this up with the Maître de who apologised and told me it was a training problem and gave us a complimentary bottle of a very good wine.Enough of the moaning the pool areas are great and there is an aqua park my grandkids loved it, The poolside bars very good and serve good food (Hot) The hotel and grounds are lit up at night and are very attractive.

  Went at the end of July with my husband, 2 kids (6 & 9) as well as my in laws. We all had a wonderful time and fell in love with the beautiful island of Kefalonia. The hotel overall is clean and well maintained. The pools are all great and there were ALWAYS beds and umbrellas available. We love beach days and walked to nearby Xi which was easy but our least favourite on the island and we didn’t want to spend the whole day there. The reception staff were excellent and very helpful, one lovely lady in particular I think her name was Marilla was so helpful. Our room (premium family) was perfect for us and we could even see the sea from our balcony which was an unexpected bonus. We don’t normally send the kids to kids club but ours asked to go and loved it! It was very small and seemed a bit basic but our 2 loved Diego and Iris who run it and made some lovely friends. We ate out most nights in nearby Lixouri which was lovely and there is also a lovely beach bar and another restaurant 5-10 mins walk from the hotel that we really enjoyed. Breakfast at the hotel is fine, pretty standard and the food at dinner is also fine. It can seem quite chaotic depending on what time you go for dinner but the staff seem to know what they are doing. If you just want to feed the kids and get on with your evening it’s fine but we like a nice relaxed dinner and to take our time with nice wine and good local food so we budgeted to go out for dinner and there were some lovely restaurants in Lixouri and a square so the kids can run around. We hired a car for a few days and tried to see as much of the island as possible and it was stunning! If we were to go again I probably wouldn’t stay here again because there was more to explore elsewhere on the island but if you are just looking for a nice, relatively quiet family holiday then go!

  Resort lovely. Food disappointing!

  Hotel and facilities were spotless and staff friendly. However, the food not so good. More often than not, lukewarm if lucky unless it was cooked in front of you like a breakfast omelette and yesterday's very bland moussaka was renamed something Spanish for dinner the following evening. A dish of pasta and prawns were dished up again for lunch for the inclusive guests (one to be avoided lukewarm reheated prawns I think) from the night before. We were half-board but the fully inclusive stays weren't better value and 2 of their selective restaurants were closed early. The Greek restaurant on site available to half-boarders for lunch and only inclusives at night had many complaints with one couple walking out on their starters. We were told be could use a snack bar and buy food from that inclusive guests used for 20Euros/a SIDE plate of cold, uninviting food and told just 1 SMALL tuna roll would cost that regardless. We would not return to this resort.   Greeted on arrival by friend and very helpful receptionists and then taken to our room by golf buggy.This is a large but well laid out complex and seems relatively flat with ramps where needed for less able. Within easy flat walking distance are a few beach bars and antenellos taverna for food. There are two beaches within a 5-10 minute flat walk the beach to the left as you look out to sea is wonderful, if you walk along and around the rocks (paddle ankle deep) it stretches about 1/2 -1 mile. Gorgeous clear water and later some pretty rock formations, so peaceful we only saw a few people on the beach that way. For other local places to visit will need to get a bus to lixouri, and from there a lovely cheap quick ferry to Argostoli (3.50 each plus 3.50 per car). I’m not sure on the frequency of buses I didn’t see any so probably infrequent, we had a hire car which I would recommend as so many beautiful place to see that are otherwise inaccessible. Rooms- our room was a very modern, clean and well appointed room, we had robes, slippers and it felt quite a luxury feel due to the modern vibe. Shower was excellent. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion replaced everyday so no need to take. Lovely balcony with table and chairs to sit and relax. Electronic shutters which when shut makes the room a total blackout and total soundproofing too so you have no idea if it’s day or night once inside with shutters down!Food in restaurant tasty and we could always find something. Overall i’d class this as a very good four star.We booked direct and got a great price, check it out, it’s lovely.
