  Myself and a friend stayed at Filoxenia Hotel & Apartments in Poros from 14th Sept for 2 weeks. I have never stayed anywhere with such lovely, patient, understanding hosts - a couple and their son, Dimitri. I say this because after two days, I managed to leave the room leaving the key in the lock inside the room. They had to call out a locksmith (on a Sunday) and had it fixed within a few hours – locksmith had an hour’s drive!!! I felt soo bad but they were so kind and gracious. The apartments were spacious with a massive double bed and a small single bed. We had an apartment each with mountain view. It was spotlessly clean and all the little touches (sweets!!) and shower curtain which actually didn’t flood the bathroom as usual was well thought out. Towels were soft and changed every 3 days. There was a walk up and down the hill each day which could be challenging to some people but we had a car for the 2 week duration and had no problems. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel/apartments to anyone looking to stay in Poros which is quiet but nice and unpretentious. Thanks to all who made our stay perfect even though we were not quite perfect ourselves.

  Excellent place to stay, but not a hotel!

  First time we have stayed in a Superior Studio so didn't know what to expect. On the plus side rooms are very clean. Location is great. Mini market and restaurants within 10-15 min walk. On the down side. No shower gel or shampoo etc. Kettle yes but no T bags coffee milk or sugar. Hot plate provided to cook on but no cooking implements utensils etc. Our fault for not checking beforehand I suppose!On the whole a very nice stay but watch out for 33 eu hotel tax, 33 eu for safe and 33 eu for Aircon. That's what we were greeted with before we got to the room which was on first floor so bags to carry up!

  We stayed here end of September-beginning of October very friendly staff very very clean they come in every day to clean and every 3 day to change the sheets and towels. We arrived and found a complementary bottle of water in the fridge and they supply a hair dryer ( so no need to bring one) the cooking facilities are basic but who cooks when there are so many nice places to eat in poros. ( although because we came end of season quite a few do the tavernas were closing up for the winter). The Apartments are set up the hill so a nice quite spot but it is a walk down to the port and all up hill on the way back! A bit of advice about visiting Kefalonia get swim shoes even if the beach is sandy there are pebbles at the water’s edge having shoes really helps getting in and out of the sea.

  This is such a beautiful little hotel on the outskirts of Poros. Our room was gorgeous, spotless and spacious, and the views - just WOW! Yes, it is a walk from the centre of town and it's up a steep hill, so if you're not into walking it's not the hotel for you. My partner and I spent a week here and really enjoyed walking (we walked around 40km in 7 days). The beach is one of the nicest beaches I've been too - the water is crystal clear! The restaurants in Poros are fantastic and we lost count of how many free dishes we were given - the people are just lovely! Last but not least, the family that run the hotel are such kind people - they immediately fixed our shower head when it broke and the lovely lady owner even picked a flower for me on the day we left. I highly recommend this hotel!

  i stayed 2 weeks in june 2022 superb appt. lovely couple very helpful I am disabled so 17 steps a trial! but could not ask for a better location and comfortable clean accomodation overlooks Poros bay very quiet location superb for mature couples I will be back Thankyou.
