  Stayed in one of the little apartments in a separate building. it was clean and had a nice terrace for enjoying a drink in the evening. Fridge and kettle provided. ideally located just off the strip where there are plenty of tavernas. Supermarket across the road. There is a small beach a short walk down the hill which is a lot quieter than some of the other beaches.

  We stayed here for two weeks in September. We booked this accommodation due to its location and also a recommendation for a local business.This review is true and accurate and also based on our experiences of other accommodation we have stayed in lassi.Hotel itself is clean and tidy., but very dated. Greek 1980’s comes to mind.The staff are very friendly, especially the ladies at the pool bar, they like a laugh and some chat.The rooms are basic, one usable socket in the room, the other supplies the flat screen tv and fridge. Don’t get excited by a flat screen tv, screen size of an old computer monitor. Didn’t go on holiday to watch tv anyway, so not an issue for us. The beds were two single beds, old wooden construction with ends of the bed at perfect knee height for me as in the first couple of days I hit my knee a few times!, this may be also due to the rooms being quite small. There is however plenty of clothes space.The toilet and shower are dated, very tight space, shower small and with an old shower curtain that stuck to you when showering. The toilet door was swollen with water damage. When you flushed the toilet it was like an accelerator of a motorcycle so be prepared for that noise.Hair dryer supplied in the room is definitely right out of the 1980’s, I’m balding and it still wouldn’t dry my hair. The balcony was a good size but the issue we had that we couldn’t sit out on it if the air conditioning in our room was on due to the air conditioning external unit sitting at floor level, blowing hot air which hit the glass balcony and recycled it back onto the balcony, really should have put the unit up at roof level so it blows out into the air.The rooms were very well kept by the staff, cleaned every day, fresh towels and bedding every day, so good service there. However, these rooms really do need an update. More sockets, modern shower room and less wooden furniture!We were on B & B so went for breakfast most mornings, hot breakfast plus the usual continental, tip: take your own bread, bread wasn’t the best and if you wanted toast then it was twice through one of the machines to toast it or about a dozen times through the other toaster.The pool, nice area, again clean and the pool is a good size. Good number of sunbeds but still had to be up early to put the towels out. This is due to the hotel allowing non residents to use the pool and facilities, we did see at the start of our holiday that some residents couldn’t get sunbeds due to non residents being in early and “put their towels down”. Think hotel needs to review this policy.The location of the hotel is its best selling point as it’s close to the Main Street and right next to a bar, however if you want an early night you will hear the local bars sound.Finally, late checkout was unavailable even though we asked a week beforehand and explained we had a flight at 10.30pm. The receptionist stated that the incoming guests had requested an early check in, so our room had been allocated. She also stated the hotel was full. Felt like we had spent two weeks in the hotel, spent our money at the pool and then at the end got turfed out to give someone what they requested!, whilst ignoring our request. Check out of our room was at 10 am. We had the use the shower room and changing room that is there for guests. Nearly forgot, there’s a dog, Bingo, he likes to bark at the trucks that go to and from the new hotel that is being built at the coastline. The hotel is on the roadway to this, Bingo barks and sprints around the pool when the trucks go past, so on a busy day he is very lively, so be aware or you might end up trying to dodge him. He is a friendly guy and enjoys a titbit, not chips though.Will we be back at the Lorenzo, No. We have been at other accommodation in lassi and can honestly say that we prefer others.

  Pool bar is truly fantastic !!!!

  This review is specifically for the pool bar as I didn’t stay at Lorenzo. The bar is run by Voula, Cynthia & Alyssa. They are perfect hosts / representatives for Lorenzo hotel. Always bright, jolly & happy. Nothing is too much trouble whatever time of day. Myself & my partner used the facilities during our stay (non residents). The pool is truly fantastic particularly if you are a decent swimmer. It’s also immaculately clean (cleaned / hoovered every morning). Thanks for making our visits to Lorenzo to special, Voula, Cynthia & Alyssa. See you next year.

  They say first impressions count, and i wasn't impressed, very dated decor, biege room curtain rail hanging on for Dear life, resort fee's for 1 week 14 euros, essential air con, 49 euros per week, so not a cheap stay, breakfast was basic, bread will test your dentures, ive been to kefalonia several times but I wouldn't recommend the hotel or resort, argostoli is the best, also your close to the airport and under the flight path.

  The Lorenzo is in a good location. Very basic hotel having very dated furniture. Breakfast was ok apart from the bread which was the worst I have ever had. No queues for toaster here as no one could eat it. Linen changed daily and fresh towels also pool towels available. Pool area nice and bar service good. Staff were very friendly. Met some nice people, many were returning year after year. One couple even booked into the same restaurant for 14 nights. Not our cup of tea but each to his own. Good bus service to agastoli. Only 2euros or 30min walk. We walked one day but it was too hot really. Good views on the way. The coastline is very picturesque.
